Very challenging game! I included it in my compilation video series of the Low Rez Jam games, if you would like to take a look :)

Thanks everyone for playing. I'm glad to hear there's some fun to be had with this thing. I'll keep adding stuff. Bigger maps and sound should be in there soon, but it'll be a while before I get to working on the graphics. I'm not so good in the visual art department, and I just end up spending all my time playing with mechanics/physics. But I'm new to this stuff, I'm sure I'll get better after I put in the hours.

For an unfinished prototype, it was fun to play. Simple concept, but fun. Make a bigger map, upgrades, enemies, maybe some graphical improvements, add sounds and let's rock!

"ooo a Thrust-clone", says I.

"I'll just get close to this rock to activate the tractor beam", thought I

"CHUNKY BITS!" my ship responded as the rock careened into me.

Lesson learned, read the description better ;)

Very nice take on it, and hope you go further with this!

Rocket physics + gravity last! Seriously, I really liked the concept, a lot :)

Thanks! I removed the bottom of the tractor beam, hopefully that's less confusing. I'll add an easier section to the cave and start the player there. Hopefully this will make learning the controls and rules a little less frustrating.

I died. Like, a lot =( cool concept though!

Took me some time to realise that collisions with (a) the rocks you're trying to mine and (b) the bottom of the tractor beam (?) are fatal and I'm supposed to avoid that. Once I'd got it, there is potential here; it's Thrust, but with the added attraction that the rock follows you around and you mustn't collide with it. Obviously it's just a prototype and therefore doesn't have music or backstory or anything, but I think this could be quite entertaining once it becomes a game!

Thanks for trying it out. Sorry for the confusion, it's just a prototype right now. You can have fun dragging the red rocks up the the blue tractor beam, but it's not much of a game yet. I want to wander around and discover things too! I'll keep adding stuff...

Not entirely sure what the point of the game is, although it looks like it has some promise. Was looking forward to wandering around and discovering new things...
