Did you work in a team?
I did not! I just worked solo on this one.

Was the resolution a challenge?
It was a novel challenge, but I enjoyed it! The trickiest thing was just figuring out how to avoid any subpixel stuff.

What did you learn?
Making a game with such a little resolution, with such strict artistic limitations, was a cool experience! I'm really glad I tried it. I decided to just embrace it and go with a 1-bit look, too. Mainly what I learned was some project management stuff.... never leave the exporting and polishing process to the last day, y'know? xD

Fun for a bit but it honestly left me wanting for more action or variation to the gameplay. It is good that you actually got it finished either way! Good job.

Cool game! As others have said it's slightly hard to make small movements, but aside from that it felt really smooth. Nice job!

Fun game and I like the art style, I would slow the players movement down a tiny bit though.

Very nice little game. I did struggle with moving a bit, it'd overshoot where I wanted to be a lot.

I really enjoyed playing this, sometimes a simple idea is enough! Perhaps being able to regain hearts would be nice so you can play endlessly but it doesn't really need anything.

Fun arcade game to pass the time.
Aside from utilizing only 2 colours, I really enjoyed the colour scheme and art style.

Congrats on finishing the game jam! I sometimes had trouble getting the ship to line up exactly where I want - I would unintentionally go too high or low and miss the enemy. A little tweaking on the movement could go a long ways. For an extra challenge you could give a penalty for letting too many go past you off the screen. Nice work

I agree some other enemies a power up and a boss definitely \o/
I took your advice and used space bar and I'm claiming the high score if no one else has ^^

Wow, that's a great score! My highest is 350, so you did very well. \o/

These ideas are definitely making me want to iterate on this game, thank you. :D

A new take on space invaders that is very enjoyable to play. I think it would be nice to have more types of enemies to face.

Thank you! I agree, some additional enemy types could add a lot. Will certainly be considering that for the future. :D

Oh, also! I did use one of the themes: You Are The Last Hope. That one is fairly self-explanatory, I guess, given the game's premise.
