Did you work in a team?
We had 4 members! 2 programmers, 1 sound designer, 1 artist.

We had a blast and worked around our schedules to meet in person, pull some late nights, and have some fun.

Was the resolution a challenge?
It was! Mostly in getting things to look pixel perfect in Unity. Luckily we had a great pixel artist that made things easier, and Unity has the pixel perfect camera built in.

What did you learn?
I learned a lot about 2D animation and what look good and what doesn't. I also really enjoyed the smaller resolution (although one down side was that it's hard to appreciate the levels/ art when the view is so constrained).

Very appealing graphics and sfx but for some reason the music ground me down a bit despite its quality. As others have said, the control arrangement doesn't seem quite right (as a left-hander I found it quite awkward).  Nonetheless, a pretty solid piece of work.

I loved the visuals and sound design!

The combat felt a little clunky and hard to avoid damage, but I have a feeling it was mostly me who was bad at it.

It was oddly nostalgic, and kind of reminded me of the old goosebumps horror theme park game from the 2000's with the sound design!

Hello!  Had a fun time playing this game, and I like to have the ability to switch weapons.  I think this game really needs controller capabilities to explore its features.  I found the keyboard input slightly awkward during combat.  But overall, the characters are visible, the music and SFX are atmospheric, and I had a fun time.  Thanks!

Good entry, visually quite good. Backgrounds and ambience graphics are great, character and monsters feel a bit “off” with the rest of the style. Animation is a bit basic and combat is a bit frustrating. Sound adds to the mood. Too bad for sub-pixel scrolling :/

Definitely challenging; was down one heart sliver left on my fourth attempt on the boss when I got him.  Not sure I understood the direction with the music, but the sound effects were nice.

Fun little game. I got very lost for a while until I found the third rune. It was challenging to pick up the pattern to beat the boss. The visuals were very impressive, even with the subpixels. Nice work overall.
