Neat idea! I included it in my LOWREZJAM compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

It's a little tricky to get used to. Once you learn how to edit properly, you then need to train yourself to not press anything else, like space, to complete it. So it's a little annoying in that sense. Maybe a little more time to edit in the early levels, and if editing space should just complete the edit and not drop the block. Just minor things like that. Otherwise it's a neat concept!

really fun game, very tricky, good job.

Cool concept but a little hard to take the controls right.
It need a little more explaination about the objective, like a small tutorials to know how to play it without taking 10min to try randomly.

Developer

Totally agree. Took me some time to get the gameplay right, so couldnt spend much time on building a good tutorial. Anyway, glad you liked the concept! That's the thing I was more interested in.

I managed to find the R key to restart a level. Was there a button to exit edit mode as well?

The idea was quite good and I liked how it evolved into a puzzle later on.

Developer

yeah, my 'pixel art' isn't quite good haha.

the R button icon shows up at the bottom left corner whenever you lose. And no, there isn't a button to exit edit mode. I do think it would be nice to have, but I prefered to keep the simplicity of the controls. Glad you liked it!
