Nice entry with a unique mechanic!

Nice game. I played it a bit without realizing that I could control the direction of the flash light! SMH. I agree that the gameplay could be improved by adding more indication when actions are triggered, but either way, very solid offering!

I really liked the atmosphere of the game.

Maybe there could be some sfx when you enter a door, go upstairs or even for the dialogue.

The ambient sound is on point and the lighting system is great!

Nice entry, obscure but interactive with the person who's playing the game, the lightning is in fact a good touch to the game, well done!

PS: If you have the time, please try out my entry https://itch.io/jam/lowrezjam-2018/rate/293637 (don't forget to rate it : ) )

Cheers

Really pushes what you can achieve in bitsy in my view - really well done and definitely a departure from most bitsy games I see. Loved the art style!

it's really cool. I was amazed that it was made with bitsy, and the devlog is really impressive. Nice work

As the game itself describes, it's a tech demo rather than a finished thing. Cleverly done, though; the devlogs are fascinating. I had no idea that bitsy could even do things beyond the most basic of 1981-era games, let alone that there seems to be a community of people working on plugins/extensions to add more stuff. That's neat. I need to look more into this.

Well the lighting's certainly impressive, even though sometimes it's a little too dark. This could have really benefitted from some ambient sound, as well as an ending. I got stuck in the "vegetable garden" outside the house and couldn't continue.
