I am aware implementing both kb+gamepad is a nightmare especially inside love2d but it does make the game a bit inaccessible, it being a local 1v1 multiplayer game does also make that more the case but its still COOL
the animations are gorgeous and the sound effects are mastered well!! good!
cant really comment much on the gameplay unless I grab my brother and force him to go a few rounds against me though lol

Hotel Oteli dont even have a gamepad, let alone a friend to play with :')
but hey, i tried to modify the .love file so i can play it anyway:)
just changing EngineState.switch(Game) to EngineState.switch(Game) in main.lua, and if self.deaths >= #self.list-1 then to if self.deaths >= 1 then in playerManager.lua, i can play the game alone :D (thankfully the code is well written tho!)

I myself totally skipped the menu since I also only had limited time available. I spent 11 hours so really had to prioritize, and some of the fun features had to stay on the Todo list so I had a game to publish
I really liked the projectiles mechanic on this game XD
bouncy and can be collected after firing it.
The timing and planning became very crucial in this game
and seems like it will be really fun game to be played together with friends
And I really liked the pixel art and the penguins' voices XD
