It has good game feel especially with the shooting mechanic. I also like the cool ligtning in the game. With some polishing  and additional content you can turn this into a game like Nuclear Throne or Enter the Gungeon.  It was a bummer you can't make the game fullscreen on browser though, maybe you can do it in the downloadable version? Anyways nice job!!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for playing the game! I'll work on making the game fullscreen in the browser!

Don't delete the current build to upload the new one until the voting ends. I did that mistake, now the WebGL version of my game is gone from the page. You cannot upload file until voting ends

Developer

Yess I'll do that after the jam... Thanks for the heads up!

I really like how you pulled off the lighting on this one for the most part. Spiders and pick-ups standing out worked great and I loved the shadows that would get cast around the player when near candles. I feel it would be a little better if it was lighter around the player when he is in the darkness as I found it hard to tell what anything past my direct feet was. It may have to do with how dark the floor itself was though. Still, very minor things and on the whole the game plays really well.

Thank you so much! I'll definitely work on the lighting post jam!

I like the lightning of game and the shooting is satisfying. The ambient kinda loud for me tho, anyways nice game bro

Thank you so much for taking time out to play it!

Love this one. Beautiful to look at, great use of lights, the visceral SFX (especially the gunshots) were top-notch and really added to the experience. I found the map a little frustrating because it was too dark to provide much info beyond the general direction of things (possibly just my monitor?), but still a nice touch. Well done!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing! I'll try to improve the brightness after the jam ends!

Amazing game ! <3

I enjoyed shooting and killing monsters and exploring the areas and i have finished the first level and found the key for the chest ! B)

the only thing I noticed is, if you get so close to a barrel and tried to shoot on it, it will never break !

Overall, great job !

Hell yes, a great Nuclear Throne styled game. I would have loved for the camera to stay a bit more in front of the player, that and maybe a bit more ammo :D

Developer

Thank you so much for playing the game! Yeah... I agree the spawn rates need to be worked on😅

Submitted(+1)

This was really intense! I was impressed by how polished it all felt, the main thing for me would just be that it feels like you run out of ammo very fast, so it may be worth looking at the balance there (it felt like I was getting way more health pickups than I actually needed, so tweaking spawn rates could help perhaps?). Amazing work!

Developer(+1)

Yeah... I'll tweak the spawn rates after the jam... Thank you so much for taking time out to play it!

Wow! A legit horror game! Very well done, very clean, very fun!
I would remove the map tho, or the enemies from the map, as it gives you some confident (and i think this was not intended, as once i noticed it i didnt scare to explore like i did before)
Amazing job for a 48h! really enjoyed it

Thank you so much!

I love the shooting, it feels soooo good, And also kill the spiders, that was my favorite thing.

The only problem that i see is that maybe there are too much levels, and it turns monotonous, i only finish the 2 firsts levels.

Sorry if i have grammatical mistakes, i´m upgrading my english (if u want to give me some feedback i am gonna to be grateful)-Kaximau

Great game! I like the shooting mechanics, it feels snappy and responsive, and killing enemies is really fun. I liked going into rooms with a bunch of enemies and killing them as I ran around, really nice! I know it's part of the aesthetic, but for me this game was a little too dark, so it was hard to see, even with the lit candles. But overall, really fun submission!

This game is very polished. The effects and sounds that are used for the gun make it feel satisfying and punchy. The game feels good to play and fits the theme well. This is a great submission.

Sweet game man. I've really enjoyed entries that play with lighting in cool ways. Minimap is really nice addition too. I'm not 100% if it needs it, but you might wanna put an epilepsy warning in a part of the description.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for playing the game! I'll definitely put the epilepsy warning in the description!
