Excellent game. I love a good tile movement puzzle game. Well done.

I did have a bug when using WASD to move it would sometimes move the coffin or block twice, which was frustrating, so I had to switch to the arrow keys, which meant using the arrow keys and the mouse felt a little weird. But that's an easy fix. I think adding some more SFX would help with the immersion, but the music was great!

Otherwise, solid game. Loved it. Maybe my favourite in the jam so far.

Thank you for the feedback, glad you liked the game 😁 I’m aware of the issue of the double movement, I think I handle it in the wrong way. I’ll try to fix it!

The game character is so cute^^ The melody was also nice and pleasant and the few colors used were harmonious and never overloaded. It was so comfortable to play. I usually don't like puzzles that much, but this one caught my attention.

Unfortunately, no matter what I did, I couldn't progress through the level where you collect the skull. Yeah, I guess I was missing a needle. Are there more levels to come? If so, I'll try again. A level selection in the menu would be nice so that I don't have to do everything again from the beginning.

The topic is completely hit. This is something that should be worked on further and I think it has potential.

For the first time I'm actually giving it 5x 5 stars + 3* in Visuals. Maybe incomprehensible to some, but I like it.

Developer

Thank you so so much for the great feedback! The skulls are not needed to proceed. I wanted to make it a more difficult puzzle to offer some challenge. If you want to go on the are 4 more levels, but I think they are doable.

I like the music and sound effects for the game, and also the art style with which creates a cute atmosphere.  It took me a while to realize that  I was supposed to get the body out of the mausoleum and I thought I got soft locked for a good 10 minutes lol. I encountered an issue where the objects would slide multiple spaces instead of 1, so I got stuck pretty often and kept having to reset my progress. Overall it was a cute and clever puzzle game, and I adore teh effect where the collected needle flies into the pin cushion that was a nice touch. Great work!

Thank you so much for the great feedback! I wanted to avoid text for the tutorial, so I put a image on the wall in the room with the coffin of the guy pushing the coffin. I should have found a way to make it more clear. For the double sliding, that shouldn’t really happen! I’ll double check the movement mechanics. Hit me up in the DMs if you can give some more details on the bug.

Hi! For the double sliding I'm not sure if its cause I'm holding the key to move instead of tapping but sometimes the object will fly a couple spaces ahead of the character. I'll try to get you a screen recording on discord!

Developer(+1)

I should probably enforce the tapping, but I didn’t want to make people miserable on long corridors 😅

Really good level design, I love the fact you have to go back in the previous levels in reverse!

Overall great grame and polish all around!

Will say I think I managed to softlock my run at the end of the second part (first run where you have gold skulls to collect), are you supposed to keep a needle from the previous to last room to progress to the exit? No button and needle is inaccessible when returning

Developer

Yeah, that was the intention. You can go back to the coffin room from the pause menu, I should put a sign to remind of it’s use in that room.

I realize there is a bug in counting the number of needles so that would probably aggravate the situation. I’ll have it fix today.

Developer

fixed it if you want to give it another go!

Probably have played this game more than others in the jam so far. really enjoyed the puzzles. i might have got to one puzzle and got to a point where i needed a needle to progress. but it was very cute and fun

Developer

Thank you very much for the feedback. The puzzle in question should be solvable by saving a needle from the previous room. You can go back by resetting to the coffin room from the save menu, I should make it more clear!

The art in this game is so good! The puzzles were a fun challenge, the game is overall cute and polished. I also enjoyed the music. My only complaint is that my golden skulls kept getting reset after collecting them for whatever reason.

Well done!

You might win with this its insanely good. A bit 90s gameplay but still good

Developer

Thank you very much! I appreciate the great feedback. I wouldn’t go as far as that, but thank you for the vote of confidence!
