Seeing a potato texture applied to a cube brought me so much joy. I am curious was that a choice instead of going for a more potato shape (capsule, sphere or mesh collider + renderer)
I need additional camera controls; other than that, it's great.
i think the theme is really fun! it genuinely feels fun to move around the space, which is the most important thing. with the way the level is set up, i didn't ever feel the difficulty of the chef - it was pretty easy to path straight to the green cube and then to the door. maybe there could be multiple cubes or the cubes isn't right next to the player?
Thanks for the review mckay. Yep, the game took a lot of time especially implementing the AI part for the chef. Actually I was thinking to create duplicate green cubes in each corner so the player can use a brute force method to unlock the door. Thus the game will be a bit intense. But this idea popped only after submitting the game. Apart from that how's the game?
I like the title and concept. The lack of camera controls makes me feel like I am getting lucky, not being stealthy. I think having camera controls would make a dramatic improvement to the gameplay.
Sure! I like the fixed camera perspective, but it seems unfair if I can't see where the chef when they are off screen. Maybe a mini map would be good? I like the ones in metal gear where I can see the guards field of vision on the mini map. I think as you continue to build the levels it would be great to see more items and variations. Maybe a realistic kitchen with appliances, food and ingredients? And taking it further, maybe some way to fight back against the chef would be good. Maybe some weapon you can find in the level.
