I need additional camera controls; other than that, it's great.

It’s a great concept and genuinely a funny game! That said, it’s a bit tricky to play—not because of the challenge, but more due to how it feels or controls. With a bit more polish, it could be really amazing!

Thanks for the feedback! I really had a big vision for the potatoes—they’d be everywhere and integral to the world—but I just didn’t have time to model them all in Blender, and I couldn’t find any good assets online. :(

Haha, I completely agree—a full-fledged potato launcher would truly capture the theme! I began modeling one in Blender, but I encountered some pesky export issues. For now, I’ve settled for a quick placeholder: a "gun that shoots potatoes." Thanks for playing tho!

I planned to tie the potato ammo into a little farming mini‑game: at the start of each round, you’ll plant a limited number of seed potatoes, and as you harvest them, they become your ammo. Defeating enemies will drop scraps you can spend on upgrades—better tools, fertilizer, irrigation—that boost your farm’s yield so you generate more potatoes (and more firepower) in future rounds.

I’m putting together a full course tutorial to help everyone gear up for the jam — and it’s coming along great so far! My goal is to make everything super clear and beginner-friendly, so new devs can jump in fast and start building cool stuff right away.

Parts 2 and 3 are dropping today, covering:

  • The WOWCube folder structure

  • A quick “Hello WowCube” app to get things rolling

Let’s be honest—there’s not nearly enough clear information about the SDK out there, so this is also about fixing that. The easier it is to build, the more developers will join in.
