Yay! I'm glad you liked it :D
We will keep in mind your issue with the water boiling step.

Two nitpicks, then the good stuff.
1) You need to display that F is the progression key somewhere more prominently. As far as I know, it's not a standard key for dialogue progression, and I would have given up after clicking, pressing space, and pressing enter if I hadn't gone back to read the itch page a second time.
2) The order submit button is not visible on screen currently. I was only able to find it and keep playing because I got to see Wesley demo it.
Other than that... Wow! This game is incredible. The knife physics were satisfying, and I loved that it would come back after I chucked it off screen :D The artistic storytelling is fantastic; I cannot get over the horns on the bread. I love that the chef pops back in and comments mid gameplay. The gameplay makes sense and I could see how the game might progress with more items and difficulty; I cannot wait to see more!
Also your team story was so cute and fun!
It's a cool idea but playing it feels so weird. Also, it's very difficult to tell what I should be doing with no instructions, and the ui on the first page is running off the screen so I can't read all of it.
In other news, this one of my favorite team stories! I hope you guys had fun and keep making games!
This was an amazing game to play!!! Totally cohesive concept; the intro set the tone well, the characters all look amazing and I am so curious about their stories, the gameplay was intuitive and smooth (it only took me one time flailing around and dying to figure out the controls). I cannot believe that I get a different array of ice creams each time I play, I just love this game.
I might need a difficulty setting though because I cannot for the life of me beat the picture module XD
Like the concept! I don't already know betting terminology, and it seems like most of the mechanics are unexplained, so it didn't feel like I had any strategy. Also, I accidentally placed a bet for $0 because I had a hard time telling what all the information meant.
I really like the look of it being on a tv screen, and the voice acting was fun too.
The team video is on the long side, but it's super cute and creative! <3
I'm having a hard time telling what Light can do. Soul can attack, but right now I can't tell why I would switch. All the art is cool, and I do really like the character designs. I did run into a fatal error, and I can run myself off the side of the map XD. Overall, interesting concept, wish I understood it better <3
Also, I liked your team video :D
Played this with my husband! We thought this was quite fun and enjoyed getting to chaotically throw stuff at each other. The movement is mostly okay, though it is a little difficult to aim your throws. I could easily see this being super controller friendly, however. Overall, a sweet and simple concept that was well executed!
First, I love the voice acting, and the characters! Even in such little time, I really fell in love with the character Bumbus. The art it super cute, the world design is great with a little bit of platforming, and I can imagine having lots of fun unlocking and exploring the world further. With that said, I don't think I got the intended gameplay experience. I was able to plant potatoes until I had negative potatoes without realizing, and then from day 2 onward, I could not visibly pickup any items, and my inventory numbers changed randomly. I still thoroughly enjoyed all the dialog and world exploration. Especially the riddle!
You clearly put a lot of thought into the mechanics of the cards and how they work together, and when they can be played. I wish that was explained somewhere in detail. The art is super cohesive, and I love the thought behind the game, and would love to see it expanded! Side note: I too could not hear sound :(
Really really cute! I love the art. The layout for the "kitchen" is really nice as well. The game pacing was really off. The order time was too short, even when I had a potato ready to go, and then you have to wait a really long time for the next customer. Would love to see this as a fully realized game!
