Very cute and chill style of game. I felt like the visuals and quest system were very polished and there was lots of variety. Well done!

Fun and simple game.  It was simple enough to figure out what to do after I read the instructions.

Thank you!

Very lovely game with nice small quests. Everything played well together.

Personally, I prefer a graphic style with more details.

Developer

Thank you for playing.

Sadly I am not much of an artist, needed to pick some base assets that i could modify at need!

Very strong Stardew Valley vibes. I like the cosy feel and the low-stress environment. Felt rewarding to finish tasks and collect stuff. One feedback I'd give is keeping track of my quests was a little hard. Thankfully I was able to remember what everyone needed and where they said to get things but if I'd forgotten just one I feel like it would've been hard to find out. Maybe a little more info in the quest menu to tell you where to go (unless there was and I missed it). Anyway, very good job! Enjoyed a lot!

Very nice, feel good game!

I do especially like that the blocked up river is actually cleared up. It would have been easy enough to just have characters say it was cleared without taking the trouble to graphically do so. :)

The villagers come off as just a little bit lazy, since a single grandson is able to do everything that they couldn't find the energy for. I know, I know, they're disheartened and overwhelmed by the situation, but it wasn't that hard to pick up litter and milk the cows! Well it sounds like they got back into the swing of things afterward. :D

Yeah, we didn't get quite the depth we were hoping for on it aha.

We wanted a little more division between people who worked at the factory and who stayed farming.

Basically the game was to change the way everyone was interacting with each other, get them all to help each other.

Also thank you for beating it:)

Not necessarily a hard game to play but I kept getting lost trying to figure out where to go. Amazing work getting it all done during a jam! Great job!

Developer

Thanks so much, I really wish i would have had the extra hour to put in a minimap or quest arrows.

Quite a cute game, and incredibly relaxing.

Pressing shift to run didn't seem to work for me though, so it was a bit slow to get from place to place.

Developer

Thank you! I was really trying to go for relaxing.

Are you on a Mac by any chance?

I was using Linux, although i don't think that was my problem. I did some testing, and narrowed it down to my kinda strange browser setup. If it matters, here is my findings:

  • Microsoft edge on windows - Works
  • Firefox on Windows - Works
  • Firefox with privacy hardening on Windows - No shift key
  • Safari on MacOS - Works
  • Firefox on MacOS - Works
  • Librewolf on MacOS - No shift key
  • Firefox on Linux - Works
  • Firefox with privacy hardening on Linux - No shift key (What I originally used)
  • Chromium on Linux - Works
  • Google Chrome on Linux - Works

In other words, for all reasonable users, the shift key should work.  Sorry about not checking before saying anything about it

So i do application support(systems analyst) as a job. and if i got bug reports like this I would likely only work 3 hours a week.

Thank you so much.

Wow, A_Thor really tested this on every browser and three different operating systems!  That's dedication.

Developer

Kinda like a big deal!

What a wonderful pixel art! Congrats!

Very impressive that you managed to put together a full system of quests with the time we had!

Dialog, interactions, everything is nicely well done!

Perhaps the only detail is that everything was faaaaarrr so I had to walk a lot to find stuff :D

Developer

Yes, the distance was a bit more then i thought when i was originally mapping it out.  The shift button to run was added as soon as i started doing repetitive  full game testing aha.
Appreciate the kind review:)
