That was fun. I think I started figuring out just before it ended. I think I might have to give it another go since I got the bad ending. I'm pretty sure I pissed off one too many townsfolk!

Developer

Thank you for playing, I'm glad you found it fun! I think everyone has gotten a bad ending on their first attempt... the good ending can definitely be achieved!

Not easy to get hooked with all the explanation. Maybe a simpler design would help. Seems to have lots of details and depth if you are ready to get pass the introduction.

Developer

Thank you for giving it a try! The design probably isn't as complex as the explanation made it seem, I should have used short and to the point instructions.

Wow, I have always wanted to create a trading game. Your interpretation of the theme is great, and the sound is spot on. Having a full detailed tutorial is a awesome. Although I may have forgotten to give change a few times and ended up with negative reputation at the end :D

Great entry!

Developer

Thank you for playing! Building a trading game has been on my mind for a while now, this jam was a great excuse motivation for me to create one. :)

Nice game.  "Change is necessary" meaning making exact change is a creative interpretation of the theme.  It did feel a bit redundant to make an offer for an item, then try to remake that exact amount again in change.  I was a bit confused at times as well.

Seriously impressive you got a working tutorial!  Those are hard to implement and especially on a crunch.

Developer

Thanks so much for playing! There's another game in the jam which involves giving direct change in much the same way, so I was perhaps not as unique as I was hoping to be. :D

Sorry for any confusion you had while playing. I did put a lot of time into the tutorial, but definitely feel it could have been better at actually explaining the important things.

I like the idea a lot and you've put some effort into the haggling system. I think the UI and lots of text during the tutorial confused me quite a bit and felt like being thrown into the deep end. Good job though!

Thank you for playing and the feedback! The tutorial seems like it was a lot more trouble than it was worth... I should have found a way to show how things work rather than tell in a convoluted way.

Great job on this.

Something about the trading felt a bit confusing, just a TAD off, but that could be my lack of experience in commerce games aha.

I still enjoyed it and will definitely be trying it out again!

Developer

Thank you for playing! Sorry it was confusing, I feel I could have improved the tutorial a lot if I'd focused more on explaining things and less on writing some weird accent. 😅

That's game jams! It was fun, i just wasn't quite sure how balancing worked at first.

This game is quite a lot of fun,  looks good, sounds good, and is an over all great entry!

Nice game idea! Quite a bit of explanation at the beginning but it picks up after a while :)

Got the teddy hahaha

Developer

Thank you for playing! And sticking through the tutorial! I should have kept it shorter and to the point.

cool game idea with complementing sound design, i got a bad ending, i guess trading isnt my thing lol

Developer

Thank you for playing, and commenting! And also playing through to the end!

Getting a bad ending is probably more a reflection on my poor tutorialization than your trading abilities! :)
