Since I am Japanese, I chose Japanese mythology as my theme.
It's a myth about a god named Amaterasu who is shut up in a cave and the world is shut up in darkness, but other gods try to bring her out by making her happy!

I really liked this, the sounds give really good feedback when you make progress and the art looks perfect

I really enjoyed this.  Very casual and it scales nicely to finish in one quick session.  Well done.

I really like this. The game play is not very meaningful (there are not a whole lot of choices) so I'm not sure about replayability, but its quite satisfying adding to the crescendo of sounds to cheer up Amaterasu. And no violence!

I could see a museum in Japan using this as one of their  interactive  exhibits, if they have that sort of thing there.

Origato!

This game got me hooked in the first 30s and I had to finish it! I think it's a superb entry. Well thought out and balanced. The art fits very well and the UI is perfectly sized! The sound/audio is crisp and makes the game enjoyable. Seikou omedetou gozaimasu!

This was a cool experience, I just feel like it was a bit stretched out with some unnecessary clicking. The graphics and audio were really cool and the idea of the audio continuously building was awesome. Excellent work for just a week!

The sounds are pretty incredible as well as the idea of building it up with each item unlocked. Great concept. Great audio. Great art. So much mouse clicking though. If I had to change anything I would add keyboard controls or gamepad support. Nice job!

A sidenote: I'm obsessed with ancient culture and interested in learning more about Japanese mythology

I really like how the music grows along with your upgrades.

The UI is really-really clever and nice-looking, and you can learn how to play without any tutorials.

Really like the art style (with that clever pattern) and the small "gif" animations too. I miss a final big illustration as a reward for completing it tho.

The only sad thing is that if you "let the game be", it will finish by itself anyway so, there is no really a challenge to overcome :( . Could also be my jealousness speaking after finished it twice XD.

Like the graphics & UI. About the gameplay: I can see more and more games like this coming up (hyper casuals they are called? or idle game? something like that...). Maybe I am just too old, but for me there is very little "game" in such kind of games - but for fans of this genre I think your game can be a good and fun one.

The UI and art were fantastic. The sound effects of each Japanese myth were well done as well. Very interesting gameplay concept with sounds continuously being added into the mix, it led to a very musical melody which I enjoyed.

Not much of gameplay, though - just clicking mindlessly throughout all the different options made me lose interest quickly.

it was interesting to know what happened at the end. I don't know why, but games like this are intriguing about what will happen next. nice 2d art!

Too many mixing sounds, but somehow fun
