ETERNAL SUFFERING... 💀

Laughed at the intros blatant requirement checking off.  I ain't a cheater like BG so never got to the end.

I cheated by checking the chat on the Beta Testers server and found the pro strats to win. I didn't actually mod any game files, though.

I admire the game's design for its simplicity, but it is quite obnoxious to play. I'm grateful that the game can be completely in a relatively short time. It's oddly inspiring. If there's one good thing to come from this game, it's that!

I was forewarned about this entry, so I escaped literally every single fight and found the exit in about 10 minutes. Woot!

Well then, you win “the prize” for probably being the only person to actually complete it legit. Not even I had the patience.

Lol, I promise I beat it without cheating... :P jk. You know what? Excellent entry for "Harold-sparking" and being apart of lots of fun convos in discord!!

Lord forgive me, I'm so sorry.

Excellence: Literally all I did was run into dead ends. Hey, fits the criteria though, right?

Combat: Enemies do no damage most of the time and go down in a few hits. My strategy just became two party members using normal attack on each enemy or four normal attacks on one. At least it's a bit of a relief considering the overwhelming number of skills you start with for each character.

Comedy: I feel like there's some sort of irony in this game. RPG generator dungeon. Dead end. Bad. It's just completely lost on me.

Sound: No music in the dungeon takes this category down a peg. Can't tell whether that's a good thing or not.

Visuals: It's RTP. Not great, not awful.

Story: Harold's gotta get out of the generator dungeon. That's all there is to it. (Spoiler alert: I didn't get out of the generator dungeon.)

Criteria: Both of them just chucked at the beginning. Almost feels like you really wanted to do this no matter what the criteria were.

IDK if I'm just frustrated because no entry I've tried so far actually works but yeah. It's a Harold Jam and a lot of bad stuff can fly by but wow. Could not bring myself to get out of the generator dungeon but I got a good enough idea just from what I played.

No forgiveness needed, the goal was literally for this to be the worst possible submission, and I think in that way, it shines. And don’t feel bad, only one person actually finished it, and they did so by cheating. :D The (very weak) humor behind it was that a few of us joked about making a a truly god-awful game, and the idea of a 256x256 generator dungeon entry popped up. This was the fruits of that moment.

The definitive edition will feature 10 more 256x256 levels, much stronger enemies, slower combat, and autorun disabled :D
