Good little platformer game :-)!
Nice concept for switching between light and dark and different platforms. It was a bit hard and difficult for me. Died a lot. Could be me but the game was not really forgiving when jumping around ;-). Did like the transition from falling to your death back to the checkpoint. Nicely done. Some extra variation or enemies in different modes could be a fun addition for a possible update.
Visual pixel style was good. I like the character looked like Godot :-)! Nice detail. Audio was also fitting for the style of game. Theme checked.
Overall a well-made game jam entry! Keep it going!
Great game! I like the visuals. The concept of the game is very interesting. I like how you implemented respawn!
It would be cool if you added new features to the game (maybe traps or shooting enemies).
Good luck!
pleasant music and controls, an interesting concept. I also really liked that when I fall down past the platform, you added a very nice transition instead of restarting the checkpoint!
Hey, great game! Very creative alignment with theme!
I liked it a lot!
Very fun platformer! I love that you go all the way to the beginning when you complete the level! The game is very short, I would have loved to see some more elements of the gameplay interract with the light, like some ennemies or projectiles only visible on one side!
Really like the concept of this game. Unfortunately, I'm playing with a touchpad instead of a mouse and tapping while jumping just refuses to activate the background switch. I did get it to once, but it seems to want a solid click and the best I can consistently manage while holding the arrow is a tap :(
Very cool concept and controls! I have a small tip for you: When the player falls of the ledge, create a very small timer and if the player presses the jump key in that time let him jump again, this would make platforming a lot smoother! Overall, it's a pretty solid game, good job!
The level design is pretty good and the visuals are very good. Thank you for the checkpoints.
