GAMEPLAY
That was a fun experience. A small game, but cleverly designed with some mini-games, some searching, and a story that unfolds progressively. The witty texts for some items were also well done. Short, but just right for a game jam, and it was fun to free Samuel.

The pixel art was very well designed, enhancing the visual appeal of the game.

The music was very fitting, enhancing the spooky atmosphere of the game and adding to the overall thematic experience.

I got permastuck on the 3rd floor - recovered the book and read the journal, yet there was nothing to interact with in the bathroom. Checked the browser console for errors, but there weren't any. Oh well.

The layered music is a nice touch, but it goes out of sync after a few minutes, probably thanks to the web build.

I would've loved some hints about controls, because it cost me a lot of mashing to find the keys for changing and closing open documents.

Good entry, rated highly.

Love the artstyle, but i couldn't use the spells because of planning in laptop, it would have been convinient to use the MLR keys in keyboard instead

Really liked this! Couldn't figure out how to reread the note on level 3 but a commenter helped me out. 

Really well done! The combat is unique and the game is well polished. I missed the journal and didn't know how to read it again. The note said 1/4 but I couldn't change which note I was looking at. Thanks for submitting!

Awesome game! It looks very polished, and the visuals and sfx are very clean. Even the very simple combat mechanic feels very satisfying to play. Well done!

Cool mechanic with the mouse buttons and great music. The mechanic and minigames get introduced very well . I liked the lore aswell, in the end I couldnt find the third floor, I havent seen anyone talking about it so I guess im just dumb.

The thing I most loved in the game was the light house.

That made a good impression on the game.

It also has a great theme-fit. Keep it up.

The art and audio are fantastic, really had a pleasant and creepy vibe at the same time. I enjoyed the isolation minigame mechanic a lot :)

Sometimes I had to walk all the way back as I didn't clearly understand where the objective was, but other than that it was a smooth experience in terms of dialogue and gameplay.

Simple but effective. Kinda sad it was so short, I would've liked to had more story beats to build it up more. I liked the atmosphere a lot. Creepy occult mystery in a dank old light house :D

Overall a good game with good art. The gameplay was simple and easy, but it was a fun experience.

The pixel art was good but by god am I a sucker for dynamic music, really fantastic job! I also really like the setting of the game being a lighthouse, just generally a cool setting and very fitting for this jams theme. The minigames are fun as well and the story - apart from a few - spelling mistakes was well written too. All in all a really good game!

Really great music, and fun juicy effects around the isolation game. I really wish I could sprint around in this. Short but sweet and fun experience, great job!
