This is exactly what I needed, tried to find food models a lot in the last year for a horror game. Finally this one matches what I needed

Damn it's so great, we got another house for indie horror games. I will buy it for sure when I get an idea to work on :)

Thanks so much for it! I'm excited to use it on my game :D

Nice parkour game, love the dreamy atmosphere, controls felt smooth. It's just a bit difficulty to play for me.

Cool, I played 2 more times. The 19th jumpscare was really good, and after getting to 20, "The End" felt like more than just a jumpscare. I kept expecting something scary to happen, so I stayed afraid and slowly started thinking, "Wait… is it really finally over?" and then felt a bit relieved lol.

Hey, thanks for playing the game! We didn’t read the rules properly earlier, so everything got a bit disorganized from the start, and I ended up taking more than 3 hrs, because I misunderstood the rules. By the time I realized it, it was a bit too late, so I decided to spend more time on the game and make it properly rather than rushing to keep it under 3 hrs.

I didn’t really keep track of the exact time we spent working on it. It was probably around 3–4 hrs, but I didn’t want to write a random guess, so I put 5 hrs as the highest estimate instead.

Thanks for reading!

Great music, love it!!! And the controls are really so smooth, and the game is very polished. Great job with it, 3–4 hrs is really less for what you did.. One of my favorite entries in the jam.

The game is pretty simple, and sounds could really enhance it. But for your very first game made under 3 hrs, it’s really something good! Nice job!

It’s nice to see another clicker game. And great job handling everything by yourself, also congrats on successfully finishing it! I really appreciate it that you didn't gave up! Love the sounds too.

I really like the game, it felt horror, and I absolutely love the little ghost and his sound haha. Didn’t manage to complete the full game, but I collected 18 cubes out of 20 ^^

I’m not really against AI art, but I’d personally recommend using human-made art, since a lot of people don’t like AI art. I’m not a big fan of it either.

Pretty unique game, I like how you play as tiny blackhole grabbing dices into the big black hole, more like black cube lol. Nice use of theme! Love the space background. Just as a suggestion, the player sprite could be improved, and it would be easier if the game had WASD controls. Otherwise really good job for 3 hrs!

Damn the game is really so polished, it's too much for 3 hrs, great job with it! 5 stars for sure!

😊

Thanks for the feedback! We do have onboarding in the first playthrough, where it says you can pick up sandballs and throw them. There’s also a UI showing how many you have. Maybe you accidentally missed the onboarding or something?

It reminded me of Mario, cool game! I really like the color palette of the art, animations felt nice and a bit funny.

Nice design! I had tried easel for a while, it was a bit hard for me. Great job making the game!

Damn its so unique, absolutely love it, fun game!

Maybe try to hide the Sad.zip file in settings, so players might won't feel confused.

Damn it's sick! I get that you didn't manage to make the web build, maybe that's why you're getting lower ratings, but it definitely deserves more. And, just curious, which language/engine did you use for the game? Otherwise, well done, it's pretty good.

The vibes gave me a strange feeling, really nailed the visuals, and gameplay is pretty fun! Good job. I think it would be a bit better if the textures were less blurry

The art is so detailed, the game felt relaxing to me overall. I also like the fishing mechanics and controls. Fun and relaxing to play.

I think the visuals are a bit darker, and a different water color could really enhance the visuals, otherwise it looks great.

I liked the art, and the physics is really pretty well designed.

Sharks in lava? Its a cool game, reminded me of Minecraft Nether. I love the vibes. Solid little game. Felt like hell.

The visuals are cool, and I really like the concept, just a suggestion, maybe try to add a small drift sideway when you get closer to something with hook :)

Beautiful art, and I really like the animations! Pretty fun to play.

Really love the rat! I think the visuals could be a bit better.

Beautiful treasure hunting game :)

I really like the art, but I think it would be a bit better if the resolution was higher. Just to clarify, the window/fullscreen resolution can already be toggled in the settings, even now. And, back to the topic, the game felt a bit confusing to me at first, and I think the controls could be a bit smoother. Otherwise, it's a cool game.

Oh finally, a game with rain! Love it! I think the rain speed could be a bit faster, and it would be really nice to have an impact effect when you match the key.

Damn, it's such a cute game, absolutely great! I got the vibe of those games/childhood videos I used to watch when I was a kid. Again, I really love that specific childhood vibe.

Amazing! The art looks gorgeous and relaxing, really detailed too. The concept is good. I think softer style sfx or more relaxing music might fit better tho. Right now it feels a bit retro-style, while the art looks modern.

It was made in only 3 hrs? Damn it's amazing, especially for 3 hrs.

The artstyle is clean and minimal, and I like how you took Sobobun-style gameplay and added unique stuff that overall feels interesting. The music also fits well there, it feels energetic, like preparing for a tiny battle.

I really like the cozy artstyle of the game, concept is pretty good, it was fun to make shelters for those crabs :D

I love the vibes of the game, and the concept is pretty unique! I think the camera sway is a bit fast, which feels a bit weird after playing for a while. And, it would be a bit easier if the switching speed was a bit slower, I'm not a platformer player but it felt a bit difficult to me.

Hey, thanks for the feedback! Yeah, seems like most people are saying there's something a bit off with the difficulty balance, tho it probably shouldn’t be that hard

Could I ask what your first experience was like? Was it annoying/frustrating, or more like "alright, just a bit hard" kinda feeling?

I usually play using both sandballs + melee together while constantly running around, so it feels pretty manageable to me… but well, Im the dev lol. I think maybe new players don’t really realize how much they need to use both mechanics together early on.

I will definitely make sure to balance things better and make future games easier to get into next time :)

Thanks again for the feedback!

Sure, everything is allowed. Only some special categories like Ziva or Bezi have their own extra prize pools that you can win if you make your game with those tools. Otherwise, you can use any engine, language, or tool you want and still be eligible to win the normal top 5 prizes overall

Looks great! Could you make some more teenage dudes in future? :)

Hey, would you like to share your discord?

Okay cool! I have sent the friend request.
