Its kinda like, a spaceship that might have multiple rooms, eg control room, and etc.
Im thinking to make a horror game, where one of the task might be to fix something outside of the shuttle while hanging with rope. Of course, there might be a lot of other things, but i just gave an example.
I wanted to make a horror game sets outside of earth, in space, an alien horror game.
Alright, thanks for your reply! :D
Its a really nice game, it perfectly captures the experience it was aiming for. I’m just a bit confused about why it isn’t performing that well and why it doesn’t have total 5-star ratings overall.
Personally, I didn’t encounter any bugs. There were some minor performance issues, but overall it ran smoothly on my GTX 970.
I really think it deserves more recognition.
Okay, I wish you luck! But I don’t really think this game is buggy. Its a nice game, it should be in the top 10 most popular by now. I checked the “New & Popular” tab, and most of the games there were actually released a few years ago, recently updated, and then pushed into the “New & Popular” section. Not just one or two games, but most of them are like that.
thats fine, but it’s not just this. I feel like it’s behaving very differently compared to mid–late 2025. I might be wrong, Im not completely sure but I’ve been observing the algorithm since 2025. From what I can see, something seems off with the algorithm. Maybe Im mistaken, and I could be misunderstanding something, but that’s just my observation.
Before, it was pretty smooth to get at top, just recently it was, all you need was a good game, but now.....
You might already experienced how the old algorithm worked before, with ur previous cool projects. Did you felt that too? Like something is off now?
Hey bro, just asking out of curious, why didnt ur game showed up in new and popular category, or popular category? Am I the only who thinks itch.io's algorithm working weird in 2026 than 2025? I felt like, before the algorithm was clean and perfect, but from 2026, I feel it isnt working properly as it is supposed to be.
Btw this is a cool game, i already gave my feedback on ratings. It perfectly captures the experience of the grandpa, and atmosphere is just amazing.
I mean, based on the ratings you have, u should be at top, but it isnt, why? I think something is wrong?
I think I now know very well how bad it feels to release a Christmas special horror game after the main timing/wave 😂😭
I started a free, unique 40-minute Christmas horror game back in November and still haven’t finished it. I’ll probably release it in a few days lol. It was originally planned for release around Christmas, but later I realized I underestimated the time and finishing it by then was impossible.
Has something similar ever happened to you? Just curious. I actually felt a bit relieved after seeing a Christmas horror game released late and still getting played really well 🙂
Good luck with the project, it looks great.
And thanks again! I really got a lot of relief and motivation to finally finish mine. I think I’ve got about 40% left to complete.
Hey, sorry for commenting here, but I really need an early playtester for my Christmas-special horror game. Could you help me out? I can give you an early copy, and all I ask is your opinion on whether the game feels good or bad, and if there’s anything I could improve or fix. Your feedback will let me release the game without any worries. I can also credit you in the description for early playtesting.
If you want a brief, it’s a 30-40 minute horror game, centered around Santa and alien mysteries, with a touch of childhood nostalgia. The game starts cozy but gradually turns creepy. It also has a nice story and a twist [I think].
If you can help, it would be much appreciated. You can share a contact, mail or Discord [I prefer Discord].
Here's my honest review: The atmosphere design is excellent, but the concept is very very simple. The gameplay type is also short. And overall, it's not a good game, except the atmosphere. Honestly, this game has no twist, just some weird/funny animations at the end. Is it really make sense like someone came at office, asked how are you, then said "I will kill you". The most simple game I have ever played. Nevermind my review, it's just my thought imao.
Do you still need a programmer?
I’m an experienced Godot developer with 3 years of experience. I’ve worked on different kinds of projects and can create both apps (like a code editor) and games. I specialize in retro-style FPS as well as realistic ones, and I’ve already built a few (I have videos I can share, though they weren’t released).
I’m comfortable working on FPS, TPS, horror, 2D games, or even software in Godot, pretty much anything you need.
What an excellent game!!! Great Job with this one. That the bathroom scene got me off guard haha. I am pretty sure this series, [Herror] will be better than fear to fathom! By the way, could I ask you a question? How much time did it required for you to make the whole game? And, Did you worked with team? Those NPC Models looks so detailed and the animations too!.
