Wish I knew it earlier, so I haven't quitted. I thought it won't be possible to get extra time after that post I created and got replied by a judge.

I wanted to ask if it would be possible to add a bit of extra time to the submission period, around 24 hours, since this is a two week jam. I’ve seen many jams offer a small extension like this.
It would give developers a chance to polish their games or fix any last minute bugs as a bonus period. Since everyone is putting in a lot of effort, this extra time could really help improve the overall quality of submissions.
I wanted to suggest something. Since it’s mentioned on the page that Gunscreen will stream their personal favorite picks, it might be better to schedule the stream 1–3 days after voting ends.
Many games could still be unfinished, have serious bugs, or need improvements by the end of voting. This short gap would give developers time to fix issues and polish their games, especially since the stream could attract a large number of viewers.
Thanks for the reply!
I understand what you mean — selecting, modifying them to fit the game, and putting everything together is still real work, and a lot of devs do it that way.
But it still refers to the original creators of the assets, so I think it wouldn’t really be accurate to say “built” them as a fact. It’s more like you modified and integrated them into the game.
If most of the assets are yours, maybe just mention something like "most assets created by me", or highlight that the programming, game design, and development were all done solo, working late nights.
The quote feels a bit misleading yeah, but glad you’re open to changing it! :)
Looking forward to your future games, this one already feels really good!
The game is really cool, but I think there’s some incorrect information on your creator page:
“All GAMES BUILT SOLO — EVERY LINE OF CODE — EVERY ASSET — EVERY SOUND”
Also on the description:
"This game was built entirely alone — every script, every sound, every asset, every scene. No team. No budget. Just one person and a lot of sleepless nights."
If this is what you meant, I think you should consider changing it, since a few assets were taken from itch like the characters. I'm not sure, but it looks like that assets pack.
Hey Kunalusk, I'm an experienced Godot developer, using it for around 4 years. I was also thinking to take some break from my main projects and make a boomer shooter or whatever we can decide later, would you like to join? We can discuss about the idea later, and I can show some of my stuff, I'm familiar with both 2d and 3d. If you're interested, let me know your discord, I will send FR.
What do you mean?
As far as I know, Gunscreen isn’t mainly a horror game developer. Even if he wanted to try, it would take time to learn and reach a strong level. So I’m not sure why he would participate.
Also, he’s the host. Usually hosts don’t take part in their own events, so it wouldn’t really make sense for him to join.
But it was a fun idea tho
Damn it looks so great, it's just perfect!
But I have a suggestion, currently there's no feature I can view this model freely before buying, so there's two options you could do:
- Make a Youtube trailer on it
- Upload the model on Sketchfab, and disable the download.
I personally recommend the second one.
Well, since the theme is real life killers, if I include one in my game, how can the player know about her actual information? Like, should I mention some real details about the killer at the end of the game? I initially thought of including her photo too, but it seems like that isn’t legal. What’s the best way to handle this?
Thanks for your reply, I get what you mean. By the way, I have a personal question, if it’s okay to ask here: My game is inspired by a real life serial killer patterns and aims to tell a believable story, but unfortunately I started it with a male main character, whereas the real killer always targeted older women. Could that be a problem? Do you recommend to change/adjust it anyway?
Also really glad you liked the visuals and overall feel, we put a lot of effort into that so it means a lot
And yeah the confusion makes sense, we didn’t get enough time to properly guide the player and add the cheat mechanics, so it ended up a bit unclear. We’ll improve that and make everything more understandable in the next version. Currently, we’ve added a simple guide in the description on how to play
Would love if you try it again later! We’ll let you know when we update it. 🙂
Thanks again for trying it out!
Thank you for the detailed review! We put a lot of love, but unfortunately it ended up unfinished and a bit buggy and rough. The cheat mechanics were supposed to be added, but we ran out of time, we’ll update it as soon as the voting ends :)
Currently, it’s just normal blackjack where you play from the dealer’s perspective.
What an interesting game! I love the story, even if it’s simple, I still really enjoyed it. The art is pretty cool. Well done on this one!
The sound effects and music are nice, and it’s so cool that you even added voice acting.

Another great game! Didn’t realize you were in the jam!
The music is perfect, just perfect! It’s very well designed and really nice to listen to.
The game is so polished.
We also made an entry, but unfortunately it ended up a bit unfinished and buggy. You could still try it if you like, we could use a few more ratings.
Damn, what a fun game to play! I love the concept and mechanics.
And the toon graphics? Absolutely impressive. But the title is really big 😂😂
Overall, the art, sound, and gameplay are great, it’s a lot for just 2 weeks. I was honestly amazed for a moment when I booted up the game haha.
