Very nice 3D puzzle/platform game.

GAMEPLAY
It was a fun game experience! Nice to look around at the environment also despite the time pressure. The controls were a bit difficult for me, but I am not so good at these type of games so can also be just me. I wasn't always sure if a jump had fully executed, which led to situations like falling into lava. Plus because I am not so adept and fast the bar depleted for me sometimes a bit too quickly. Still enjoyed playing.

ART STYLE / VISUALS
The 3D environment was beautifully rendered with some good light effects that enhanced the visual appeal of the game.

AUDIO / SOUND DESIGN
The audio was well-suited to the game's setting.

INNOVATION
Not really applicable.

THEME
The theme was incorporated into the story, check.

Overall a solid 3D game entry to this jam. Good work 💪

Thank you for playing! Happy to hear the positive feedback 😄

Glad you enjoyed the art and audio our team made :)
I will try to work more on difficulty and design for a future update!

The game was highly polished and the graphics and sound design was great ! , a 5 star in the graphics and sound categories , the game play was fun and engaging to , I couldn't complete the game due to my sloppy hands : )

I would just suggest adding a bit of kayote time and more snappy controls , this makes platforming a bit easier

but over all the game was pretty good : )

Kudos

Developer

Thank you for playing, and really appreciate your feedback 😄

I will try to improve the gameplay in the next update!

Feature request: I'd love for the portals that launch you to have some kind of indicator of the direction you're going to be launched, that's visible from far away.

The controls were a bit too floaty, but other than that it's a very solid entry.

Developer

Thanks for playing and for your feedback!

In Unity I've made tooling to visually see the direction of the tp force for ease of design, didn't really think about making it visible in game though, thanks for the idea 😄

This game looks amazing and is very well made. I'll give some feedback but it's very professional already.

For a game like this, in a jam, a difficulty setting would be very nice (and easy to implement). Just slow the degrading bar way down on easy mode. For players like me who aren't very skillful this becomes too hard very quickly. So I've seen only a small part of the game.

And on my screen, the level is quite dark. It was a bit hard to see where I was going.

Well done!

Developer

Thank you for playing :)

That's a good idea to have a diffculty setting, didn't think about it. The sanity meter was not really well polished since we had to rush the game design a bit towards the end.
When improving it we could totally take into account a difficulty setting to give the player more time thanks for the idea!

cool game nice job to everybody! lots of polish which is nice: menus and UI are well-presented and intuitive, SFX work well to add to the ambiance, and everything plays smoothly. however, one critique is that the robot moves a little too smoothly, making the platforming difficult as i kept sliding off the platform and into lava after my jump had already completed. it felt a bit like i was on ice or the moon which didnt really match the rock and lava aestethic. overall great job, fun entry!!

Thank you for playing! Appreciate your feedback 😄

really nice game! I think it's pretty polished for a jam game, but the controls were kinda annoying as others have said, so maybe just make it feel more responsive. Some areas were confusing and took me some time to figure out, but the artstyle is pretty nice. Great job overall!

Thanks for playing, and I appreciate your feedback! :)

Pretty solid overall! I couldn’t figure out how to get up to the sideways portals the normal way in the final challenge and just hopped up alongside the edge of the stage instead, which was far easier. It seemed like the one on the wall accessible from ground level didn’t do anything, though I suspect it sends you back to the start of that puzzle? Okay I now see the gif of that level and am not sure I even had a box on the first platform, definitely the pad didn’t light up, but hopping across the lava was easy enough to do.

I definitely agree that it’s far too floaty but really the issue is a lack of a shadow. If we had one directly underneath showing where the little robot was at all times i’m sure it would’ve felt much easier to aim - the blue circle seemed like it was supposed to be that, but it didn’t stay on the ground, making it not so useful. The energy mechanic seemed out of place, especially with the recharge pickups giving so little.

I like the art and vibes, but am not much of a fan of invisible walls and places looking explorable or like secrets could be there only for it not to be? I think there’s a way to do the geometry such that it retains its cool look without sacrificing readability of where exactly you’re supposed to be and where you’re just wasting your time, especially with the cat (who i did get to) easter egg giving a hint of suggestion that exploration is possible or lucrative.

Overall it’s really well made, smooth and fairly polished, definitely a solid entry for the jam. Are y’all planning to develop this further? Could be cool to see what you could cook up with some more time :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing, I appreciate your elaborate feedback it's really helpful!

The points you mentionned are great hints to what we should work on the game for a future update!
I didn't think about the shadows part, that's a great idea :)

The game design of the game was our weakest point unfortunately, so when in comes to the map and making puzzles fun and interesting, we could not do such a good job on time. In fact we kind of had to rush it in the final day :/
With a future update I'll be sure to update those in priority and make it much more interesting to explore and solve puzzles!

Thanks a ton for your feedback I'm noting all your points.

Cool game, I like voxel art and its very well made here. The jump seems ok for me but the friction made me fall of the last platform with the box quite a lot lol. I also feel like the running out energy mechanic doesnt add much to the game but who knows. Overall I liked and it feels polished.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing!

Glad you enjoyed the art style 😄

Appreciate your feedback, I'll take this into account  to try to improve on them, thank you!

Really appealing and polished game, well done! Often times I found myself struggeling with the way the character moves, it feels a bit too "floaty", but otherwise I had a great time traversing your beautiful levels!

Developer

Thank you really appreciate it! :)

Yes character jump felt off for a lot of people it seems, it was supposed to be that way to make flying mechanics with dash a lot of fun, but we couldn't finish what we had in mind. I will try to improve it in the future.

Good game with nice 3D graphics. The movement was annoying! The level design was good but the areas were wide and sometimes confusing. Overall good game :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing and for your feedback!
There's certainly is a lot to improve on the map and movement, will be improving those.

Submitted(+1)

I will echo what everyone else is saying about the jump but on a positive note, I really like the level design, looks really nice, Good job!

Developer

Thank you! 😄

Liked game visuals and audio. Jumping is kinda floaty and level design have some gaps that I were able to almost fully skip through last levels ( with dashing mainly ), but overall cool game!

Developer

Thanks for playing and for giving your feedback :)

This game was very fun and cute. The controls were a bit weird in my opinion, however I would definitely play again!

OMG i loved playing the game, the environment was pretty unique and reminded me one of my favorite game! The music is very good too! Only the jump was a little weird! I would love to help you with 3D modeling in some game jam!

Developer(+1)

Thank you really glad you liked it 😄

Sure I'm open for collaboration we can talk on discord if you want, you can dm me on itch :)

I really love the look of the game. Its unfortunate my laptop could barely run it lol. Imma have to try it again on my PC. And do I even need to say it? The jumping lol. Apart from that, fits the theme very well. Looks great and the mechanics are interesting to say the least. W game

Developer

Thank you!

I will be delving deeper in the game design in a future update to fix the gameplay issues, sorry about that ^^'
I also didn't know the game ran poorly on low end computers, seemed to run pretty smoothly on most computers and even on the web version. I will be keeping an eye on that.

Submitted(+1)

Solid game! Love the look of the game and controller support. For feedback, like others have said the jump is very floaty and the character felt a little slippery to control at times (mostly when trying to push blocks), and the health still depletes while paused. Also noticed I couldn't navigate the pause menu with controller which wasn't a big deal, and jumppads were kinda wonky which let me get a huge boost and go out of bounds lol.

Developer

Thanks a lot for your feedback it's very helpful!

Game design was really the least worked on thing in the game unfortunately, so there are tons of issues like you mentionned that ruin the experience of the game. Didn't even have time to put proper invisible walls to prevent this kind of thing from happening :/
I will be working on a future update an fix a lot of design issues.

Thanks also for making a demo of the jump pad, on my side when playtesting it didn't behave like that at all, so I will give a look as well!

Submitted(+1)

I played around with it a bit during my playthrough and the jump pad interaction seems to happen when I press jump just before being boosted by it, hope this helps!

Submitted(+1)

This is a great game, I love the visual aesthetic of the game, jumping felt a little wierd and floaty (but i guess thats what you get for literally floating lol) but i got used to it, overall I enjoyed the whole thing.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing, and I appreciate your feedback :)

Yes being a floating android is not always easy! 😆

Submitted(+1)

It looks  great. Although it felt that my poor laptop was dying.

I figured out a way to get the last radio piece without having the dash (and the second piece). It didn't let me finish the game that way and I couldn't get back to the second piece. That's what I get for trying to break games 😅

The platformer physics aren't the best but overall it's a very nice game.

Developer

Thank you for for feedback!

Game design was very rushed in our game unfortunately, I actually got to the same result as you and got stuck while playtesting after the game jam xD

I'll fix the design issues in an upcoming version!

Submitted(+1)

Interesting game, it was fun to play! Just wanna say the jump is a bit weird but thats all, good job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing and for your feedback :)

I enjoyed exploring this interesting world and even escaping out of bounds a few times.
I would even prefer if it didn't have the health constantly depleting so I could feel less rushed through it.
I enjoyed unlocking different abilities as I progressed, though the pads and items felt confusing for the first half of the game. It would be better if they didn't draw so much attention to themselves, before you are capable of interacting with them.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your feedback! Will take it into account when working on a future update.
