Super cute, love all the accessibility and the cute animtions! I almost gave up on level 3, one sheep didn’t eat for nearly 10 min! I’d also turn on Y-sort (and make sure the pivots are at the base). With 10 min, the screen was covered in grass and was floating on top of the sheep.

This is one of the most visually pleasing games I’ve played in this jam with some good music as well, and the concept behind the game is wonderful. I really like the concept behind this game, though I have noticed a couple issues through my playthrough.

It would be nice if you could manually tell a sheep to eat the grass because I kept running into an issue where the sheep just wouldn’t eat grass despite their health being low and being right in front of it

The wolves are really easy to keep off screen by just spam clicking on their general position, preventing them from ever getting on the screen. I never got hit once due to this. I think it would be better if they individually spawned in on different sides of the screen.

That might have tainted my perspective because I felt like the levels were a little repetitive after a while, but the core concept still held up well.

Even with with these issues, I still like this game a lot, and I can’t wait for an updated version.

Very cool idea and good looking art. The audio is also very well implemented, I was surprised to hear the animal steps. Also I know that guitar loop from somewhere but cant rememeber from where XD. Nice work!

The game is insanely cute, and the starting monologue is a weird but interesting addition.

I like the art of the sheep. There very cute. The hitboxes of the fences where a bit large.

Very cute and fun game. It felt powerful to bark at sheep.

Really cute little game, some issues but overall quite a nice experience even if it become repetitive after some levels, also the strategy to sacrifice a sheep each level is way too powerfull x)

Wow, I wasn't even thinking a player could/would purposely do that!  That gives me some food for thought for ways to update the game.  Thanks for playing!

This is a neat little game! The artwork is quite cute and very fitting for this type of game, and I appreciate all the accessibility features included! Admittedly, some of the bugs made it a bit harder to progress from level to level, but I still think the core gameplay is solid!

If you ever revisit this game after the voting period, it would be cool to see some of the more major bugs ironed out as well as some additional mechanics to add more depth to the gameplay.

Overall, nicely done!

Thanks for playing!  I uploaded a new version which would hopefully let players be able to progress through the levels more smoothly.  Although, there's still a bug where a sheep can forget to eat and it takes several nudges to get them to find an "available" grass.  But nothing core has changed so if you don't want to replay it, that's fine.  I appreciate your feedback.

Cute art style!

I liked the artstyle and the animations, but the gameplay felt a bit too slow for me. At some point one sheep wasn't eating anything despite the health bar not being full. Also, I would have liked if the wolves were a bigger menace and tougher to get them off.

Great art style and a solid little track playing. Only problem, as elsewhere noted is the clunky controlling. Beyond that, fun little cozy game!

I really like the art style for this game! Multitasking between feeding the sheep and keeping them safe while fending off the wolves was also really fun. The gameplay did start to get a bit repetitive after a while and the hitboxes of the sheep would make navigating a bit tricky at times but other than that, I had a good time!

The game is really cute and has a nice cozy vibe, but I couldn't get past Level 3. I restarted the level like 5 or 6 times but the sheep kept getting stuck against blades of grass and not eating them. I anihilated all the wolves tho lol. May come back to this game in a couple of days and try to get past Level 3!

Thanks for playing!  I just received approval to create a new version of the game with fixes for the sheep getting stuck.  I also heard another player saying the gate was closed when it should have been opened.  I'm hoping to squash those 2 bugs tonight so if you want to check back after 12 or 24 hours, that'd be awesome.

Yeah I found level 2 gate closed until all the sheep were fed and full health, then it opened. I thought that was a feature not a bug lol

Developer

Thanks for playing!  Yeah that is a feature; the gate doesn't open until the sheep are all fed and at 100% health.  So if they get hurt, they still need to eat to heal their wounds.

Apologies for all the bugs in the game like sheep getting stuck in corners, not eating grass, etc.  Please press the ESC button and use the RESTART button if needed.  Thanks for playing!
