Nice cooking game! I like the details on the graphics like tha chopped up carrot stages!

I would really love it if there were some simple sounds and music. It would give so much life to the game.

About the gameplay, the carrots are slipping way too much at a point that is hard to put them in the bowl. also, after that I couldn't find a way to continue the cooking process.

It has some good ideas in it! It has potential for sure. Keep working on it :)

Hard to understand at first but pretty fun after you got it. The animation is amazing, it would be great to have an indicator that you are moving cause its hard to understand. Very fun concept, nice work!

Well, as an enjoyer of platformers I really enjoyed playing this game, although it is very hard. I still wonder why there was an intense first level, and then a more chill one. Interesting choice. In the second level I believe it would be a nice idea to add a checkpoint. Art and audio are very fitting. Good game!

Fun concept with pretty neat artstyle. Great use of the analog wild card. I fed the people with toxicity and they loved it. Nice work!

What a great little game! I'm not into turn-based games but I really enjoyed this one! You should keep working on it for sure.

I would love some 8-bit music but probably you didn't have the time for that. The only "negative" thing I have to say is that I'm not so sure if it fits exactly the theme of the jam, but it's ok, no one really cares as long as you have a game full of potential.

Art and level design are very good. I really like the concept and how you control the character, only problem I have is that there is not a good indicator of whats going on during a fight. Its hard to see when I am hit or when I hit. Good work nontheless!

Wow such a cool interpatation of snake by using the nodes method. The game's functionality is great and playing is actually addicting both beacuse its easy to follow and beacause of how the gameplay flows. The ways of losing your length are also very clever. Great work!

Very cool idea and good looking art. The audio is also very well implemented, I was surprised to hear the animal steps. Also I know that guitar loop from somewhere but cant rememeber from where XD. Nice work!

Interesting how you need to keep your health up by not shooting and being forced to eat different fruits, exploring all the varieies. My favorite was definetely the blue berry. I think it would be nice to be able to move around freely but maybe it does not compliment what you were going for. Also game got faster at somepoint,, I think it could go even faster.  Very good enemy and weapon design adding some complexity. Art is lovely as well. Nice work!

Very interesting take on snake like game. At first I thought I need to get out of the dead end I am in but then the game explained itself. I t is a great idea to lose your parts and be careful not to get corrupted. The assets are also amazing. I would still love to go outside the rocks and roam free, maybe facing other enemies or ways to hurt myself. Great work!

Oof, that was an intense experience even for such a little game. It really felt bad to fight all the people especially your wife. Very good storytelling as well as progress since you need to go around the town in order to unlock the next thing. Really love the concept. Great work!

Seems that would be a really cool looking game just by the little snippet you gave us. Things like that happen in jam and such sort periods of time. I would love to see a more complete version and play it out. Keep it up!

Unfortuantely as some fires spawn beside the houses, is really hard for the player to know where to click in order to put them out. I usually click in the roads behind th ouses if any. Some fires cannot be put out which is another miss on our part cause the player should be able to erase all fires by just using firefighters. Lot of things to fix XD, but we 'll get there. Haha, yeah firefighters are acting weird sometimes. I am glad it was clear what to do, I beleieve we need a more rewarding gameplay and endgoal in general, something we are thinking about. Thanks for playing!

I played some games in the jam that had a similar idea to yours, fire consuming instead of what we did, and they were all very clever concepts. Interesting idea about a chief, maybe you could unlock it with some more money and then the firefighters are automated, sounds pretty neat actually. Really cool concept. I reached day 4 and I want to listen how the music will evolve. Great way of storytelling, i just wish I could find more resources to survive. I guess its hard to find the balance between easy and hard in this situation.  Great game!

The boiling mechanic is quite simple but pretty effective. It would be fun if there was some more ways to cook after a while because it got a little bit repetitive.

Hey thanks for playing Let's call it unemployment yes. The idea was to erase the firefighters after a while as well as the towers so the player doesnt end up having mulitple of them sitting still and putting out fires. We hope to remove most of the bugs in the near future. We appreciate your feedback!

Very fun game. Although it may seem hard at first it gets easier by learning how to fight and what powers are the most important to help you progress. I realy enjoyed how it goes from, damn I can't kil anything, to nothing can stop me Really rewarding. Good work!

What a cute little exploring game! The art and the world design in general is really beatiful!

I couldn't find the last plant so I don't know if you have something more after finishing the game, so i can judge only at the exploring stage of the game. Maybe you could add a health factor that focuses on keep eating the plants. Also, it might be interesting if some plants give you a special feature like speed, or eating automatically the next plant, or more time? (if there was a time management).

Overall, the game is really pretty and you should keep working on it. It has potential!

Very fun game with interesting mechanics. Easy to understand and play along. I noticed that the cut button has a weird colllider where clicking it to the center or a bit to the right doesnt click it, which caused to select the screen a few times, but a minor thing. Lots of potential, great work!

Wow such a fun game. I immidietaly got hooked wanting to buy everything. At first the controls felt weird because the character slows down a lot but it definetely fits when you running. Music and sfx are also very fitting for this type of game. Great work!

I love the music! The art is simple but on point too! The controls are responsive as they should in a platformer. Good job on that! The multiple doors gave me a metroidvania vibe which i really like. Maybe you should think about adding a mini map to help people keep track of the rooms. The wall jump is really fun too, I like that you embraced it on the level design.

I would prefer less sliding on the surfaces because it was pretty hard to stay on small edges. Also, the change of mid-air direction got a bit frustrating while exploring the rooms. It helps when you wall jumping continuously but it gets confusing when you try to land on a specific area.

Overall, it's a great submission. Keep working on it!

Great implementation of the mechanics. I liked the fact that it was some what punishing and aldo the idea of having to collect animals to unlock next level, testing the player's skills. Ending is also very cute. Nice work!
