Game Description
Help your ship & crew complete their mission.
How does your game tie into the theme?
Well since the theme is 'tower', I made my game about a tower! A ship that tows other ships ;)

Awesome a beautiful little compact homage to Star Trek. Really cute presentation and felt like you were very much in the universe. The super low res art and style is incredibly well done. Loved it. a great little experience
short, but cute! well done!
Enjoy this as a Trek fan. A great twist on the theme, interpreting it as "tow-er" never came into my mind.
It's got some nice charm to it. I had a few nit picks: If the game is mouse driven, I'd prefer to hold mouse to move rather than keep clicking. Secondly it's be great to increase the distance of interactions since some you had to be really close to.
Yea, I agree in retrospect click&hold would be better. The main reason I had small interaction zones is because at this resolution it was hard to fit things like text boxes onto the screen in a way that makes sense (pinned to character speaking, but not being cut off etc). Someone else had the same feedback and it occurred to me to maybe just visually show the area when you hover, so you could hunt around the screen and at least know what is interactable and what isn’t.
Anyway, I’m glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for the feedback!
This game was very charming. I found the low res text a little challenging to read, but not impossible. Could be nice to add some accessibility options to change the font, though also recognize you were going for a really low res look. I loved the little walk animations and teleporting around. I did find it a little frustrating that the hit boxes for the interactables didn't seem activated unless you were within a certain distance of the object, but that distance was unknown. Specially the last one to start towing seemed finicky I felt like I was in the wrong room to start it at first because I had clicked on everything on the dock. Overall really nice game though! I enjoyed it
Ah interesting, I guess when hovering on an interactable thing it would be nice to indicate that by showing the allowed area.
Thanks for the feedback, and glad you enjoyed it!
Nice soundtrack and ambience sound.
The teleportation is so good.
This is an excellent game
Thank you 🙇♂️
I liked it a lot! Very well done! Each thing was pretty confusing, but was intuitive enough for me to figure out and excusable as a jam game. At one point, the dialogue was off the screen, so I couldn’t read it all.
Ah too bad, the dialog is pinned to the character talking, I tried to make it so the activation areas are so that you’d always see it. Where/which character did you see that?
Tower, not tower!
Loved all the trek references :) The point-and-click interface was on point. Minigames all worked and were easy to figure out, some after a few tries. Very cute, short and sweet
Thank you 🙏
As a huge TNG fan i loved all the small details you added to your game :D I recognized a bunch of the 4x12 pixel characters
Haha nice! I tried to get some generic characters in there like the Vulcan on the bridge for example but many were inspired by TNG 🫡
Great job on your game! This is a super cute twist on the theme, and a really cool use of canvas items. The minigames could be a little confusing at first, but there was only so much you could do wrong, so it wasn't really a problem. I really like the crewmates walk and the whole nice little package. Well done!
Thank you! I did struggle a bit with explaining the minigames, there’s limited screen real-estate for text at this resolution :) I figured at least there’s no real penalty for failing, you can just try again. There’s an NPC in engineering who will give you a hint for the engine one which is pretty abstract.
Anyway, glad you liked it!
I love the pixel-design, and thought it conveyed some wonderful images using such little resolution. I did get stuck after hitting 'escape' though. Fun game!
Oopsie! My muscle memory for quitting a game during dev is ESC and I appear to have left in
if event.keycode == KEY_ESCAPE: get_tree().quit()
😅I’m glad you liked it up until that point!
Rock solid game.
I like the design of the ship, and all the mini-game tasks.
Thank you! I wanted to include a few more mini-games but I realised early on I may have over-scoped and trimmed it a bit.
sweet and simple, fun to walk around and interact with your fellow crewmates. tasks were pretty straightforward. very charming game. would like to see what a fleshed out version of this game would look like!
Thank you, I’m glad you liked it. I feel like I learned a lot about this kind of point-and-click type game, so maybe someday I’ll take another crack at it :)
I love the art and sound design. The attention to the little details even at such a low resolution is definitely noticeable. Great work.
Wow thanks :) I’m glad you liked it.
Couldn't find lonely jeffrey but overall really enjoyable! Love the point to move system. Sound design was really spot on too!
Thank you!
Here’s a hint – on star trek there are these access tunnels between/decks/etc. The crew often have to crawl through them for one reason or another… They’re called “Jeffries Tubes” ;)
Couldn't find the tricoder but it was really fun. Love the simplicity of the low res pixel art.
It’s in sickbay on a shelf ;) Glad you liked it!
Very cute! I really liked the art and the movement controls felt responsive, too. I couldn't figure out the engine alignment puzzle, and I probably misunderstand the goal there. May come back to this later, as I'd love to see more of the content.
Great first submission to GWJ. Looking forward to seeing more!
There’s an engineer standing nearby who will give you a hint!
