This was a rather unique twist on the normal modes for me, having a big eye chasing the player was quite hilarous too =D

Fun game! I had dificulty with my laptop at first, grabbed a mouse and was much better.
Hey, we had similar ideas! Agar.io was also an inspiration for my game! It was really fun! I liked the art and the dynamic camera. However, I think I stopped growing from eating planets at a certain point. I stopped getting larger no matter how many planets I ate. Good job!!
Ah yes I liked your entry a lot and thought that when I played!! Reminded me of old Marble Madness games + the absorption mechanic, thanks a ton for coming to check mine out too! There is a bit of an illusion as you keep growing since the camera zooms out proportionate to the character so eventually it just looks the same haha, I think I should have not zoomed it out exactly proportionate so you could see how huge your own planet is eventually getting, especially by the time you are big enough to destroy the chasing eye. I did cap the size of all of the spawning planets though
Managed to crack 1000 points after some practice. :) Music is super catchy! Is it ever possible to get bigger than the thing chasing you? Congrats on your first submission.
If the background moved in the opposite direction of the player/Earth, it would give a better sense of speed. But other than that, great game! My best score was 322, maybe I'll try a better one later! xD
Thank you so much for playing!! I agree, I wish I had done some movement with the background!! I am not experienced in Godot yet and couldn't quite figure it out, I tried using BG layers/parallax but when my camera scale zoomed out it broke sadly so I went with a still image :(, lots of learning this jam so I am grateful
Long time ago I have played a game called https://agar.io/ which has similar gameplay but yours is better with galaxy vibes. Good job creating this game in such a time constraint!
Thank you!! Some feedback I got from a friend was that I probably could have just made the character follow the mouse automatically instead of burst movements so that it was easier to understand, I wish I had time to just do a quick tutorial instead of a text wall at the start haha. I am glad you got it and really appreciate you playing!
I don't what I did to make that black hole angry, but it made all of the humans have some bad vertigo. Lame joke, nice game, I didn't expect such an interesting twist on the theme. I liked it
Had a good amount of fun! Game has some very intense and difficult moments. I appreciate the sound and music, while simple I felt like it added a lot.
Great work!
