Great game! I loved the art, and all the different enemy types. As I talked about on stream, I think the only thing that would be nice to change would be click to attack. Wonderful job! Congrats on your first game for GWJ :-)

Developer

Thank you so much for playing! I already change that and gonna update as soon as the jam is over! :)

hey! congratulations on your first gwj participation! i liked the exploration aspect of the game, and the stressful cave ambiance with the monsters running behind you! well done! :)

The world was much more expansive than I thought it'd be at first tbh, so was the enemy variety. The enemies can be easily distinguished as well. Though it was a bit hard to know that the flame's intensity is your health in the beginning.

Developer

There were some things that was clear to me, but I forgot to let them clear to the players. ^^"

Gonna try to correct this after the jam, maybe put a message to not let the fire die or something.

Thanks for playing, glad you liked it! ^^

It was a nice little game. I only died once and that to the pale lady after she asked if I could lead her out, so I thought we were going back upwards since the stairs had been leading downwards all the time but she cornered me by the stair leading out and I died because I couldn't get past her again. So I'm glad I don't need to restart the whole game xD

Developer(+1)

Yes, I saw this bug just yesterday. :/

When you choose NO, she becomes an enemy. When you choose YES, she shouldn't damage you or even touch you, just follow. I'll try to fix this after the jam. Also, the idea was that the stairs would always lead up, but I couldn't draw very well. ^^'

Anyway, thanks for playing, glad you liked it! ^^

Such a fun game, those bats are so mean!!! :D

Developer(+1)

Yes they are! Still, I prefer them to spiders! xD

Hey cool project :)

I think it would be cooler if the game was a little darker so the torch had more impact

I did like the achievements you added like not needing the torch, enocurging other ways to play

Developer

I was afraid to let too dark! But thank you for the feedback. Glad you liked! ^^
