Cool concept and a very ambitious game for a jam! The art's great, in particular I like the map. The writing is solid. Great work!

I wish cards were decorated! Nice game

nice little project! :)

some comments:
making the intro text wait for input (key press or mouse click) to continue would have made it more accessible. as others noted, the font was difficult to read, and i wasn't able to read the whole block of text before it vanished, so after two times i just hit skip.

then, the game is actually really beautiful, you've done a good job of giving it a greek mythology atmosphere! :)

the battle part of it felt a little long and random. i'm not sure but i think if the values on the cards were a little higher (more damage / more healing) it might have allowed some sense of strategy?

anyways, overall, really good! and congratulations on your first participation! :)

oh, i also meant to say: i think the font choice is good for title elements, the game's title, the card names, etc, but the actual intro text, island events and card descriptions might've been a bit easier to read with less of a fantasy font choice.

really nice job! congratulations!

Yeah I will agree the text was a bit hard to read, especially the intro in white.
I enjoyed the audio and the setting, but I didn't really get the sense of it being underground.
I don't usually play card games, but I guess you really need variety as well as a way to view and customize your deck for it to really work, as well as a way to save to your hand or some other mechanic that makes it more tactical and less random. I guess I'm stating the obvious, there is always the issue of time.

Sailing around on mini adventures to find new cards is a really nice idea and gives great opportunity for worldbuilding. (Y)

I loved the art and style of it. The font was pretty difficult to read, and the battles felt a little slow. Some animations (even just shifting/scaling characters) would have made the battles feel more dynamic.

Great game! Would love to see an expanded version

Visually very nice game. :) Like others have said the text was a little hard  to read at times. But didn't take away from the actual gameplay. I got very close to winning the battle but think I made a couple of mistakes. Nice work on your first submission!

The art and cutscene is dope and the theme is quite unique. It is great theme with and I wish there are more cards as it could developed into amazing future games!

The art style is pretty cool and the music too.

The text disappear to fast and the font is hard to read. That's a shame because the lore seems interesting.

It's too bad there is only one fight.

Very unique game overall, from mechanics to art style, but it all fits together and works quite well! The fight is pretty tough, I think I made a few mistakes at first, so for me it was tense balancing at 10sp for no less than 10 mins, but it felt really satisfying to finally win.

The biggest trouble for me was the font - it looks fun and authentic, but gets somewhat hard to read, especially with a lot of text. Other than that, it's a very solid and fun card game, great work!

Thanks for the feedback!

Worked hard over the weekend to post our working version. There is the problem with the readability of the font, but we did not have time to fix it.

I think after the ratings we will post an improved version. There are still a lot of events and a couple of battles with other enemies.

The coming days will devote time to the games of other participants.
