Thanks for playing!
Sorry to hear you couldn't find each other, are you able to let me know what browsers you were using?
Curious to find out what might have been the reason

Update: Looking into things I believe its networking authorities configuration / data limitation of web socket packets but great knowledge for the future

Here is the source code - https://github.com/jtorbett23/WildJam86Public

This is such a cute game with so much personality. The music is calming and the story panels are charming.

It's fun to balance the coffee making with being illegal.

Amazing work :)

The ghost is so cute and I love how it moves and has difference faces.

The main mechanic is a great use of the mask theme and liked that you played with different variation within the jam.

Great work, music was a vibe too :)

Really enjoyed the setting: spooky vibes, smart use of 2D assets and fog gave lovely atmosphere.

Loved the art style of this game and the slime creature was amazingly wobbly :)

Thanks for playing

Yeah was a first for my game jams but happy to have unlocked the skill.

I agree, it's just about hanging out chatting and rating masks.

I will add yours to check out :)

Thanks for playing :) I've add yours to my list to checkout
It mainly works using default WebSocketServer https://docs.godotengine.org/en/3.5/classes/class_websocketserver.html hosted on a free oracle instance and used this tutorial as a base -

As for source code, I'll need to clean up some stuff for security reasons but can share at a later date

I feel the feeling of struggling with communication really comes across with this one, not just having to fine the right notes but the timing too. Great work on getting that emotion through.

All the enemies have cool designs, would be interesting to see this in a rhythm game format.

Got a high score of 15450 which feels good.
The character animation looks great for this.

Cool aesthetic on this one

Thanks for playing 😁

Did you personally find the current sensitivity too high or low?

Thanks for playing 😁

This happens as soon as you control the character?

How does the camera act when it goes crazy?

Cool puzzle platformer :) The bonk sounds are great :)

Hey thanks for playing it should just be using the interact key which is "E" while facing their face :). Let me know if there are still issues (possibly send a screenshot of your situation) and should be able to advise more.

Hey love the art on this one and enjoyed the puzzle :). I finished the first puzzle when getting the cat back to their mother, was this the end cause the screen went black after?  (was on Opera GX)

Thanks :) You are right about the art calculation it is lacking in accuracy, more of an illusion of ranking in this version.

Great submission there is so much polish on this project. I like having the tense forging sections and time to relax after when delivering orders.

Ah that makes sense why it felt originally like it was hitting more, thanks for clarifying :)

Thank you. I would expect no less from a forger like yourself :)

Thank you our artist really appreciates the kind words

Glad you enjoyed it. Herb is goals :)

Hey thanks Herb is best boi :)
In terms of the undo I save eat drawing circle in an array and that array gets redrawn each update. For each change to that array it is stored in an array of arrays so as you undo it just grabs the previous state. E.g
previous_drawings = [ [], [1], [1,2]]

current_drawings = [1,2,3]

undo
grab the last element of previous drawing -> current_drawings = [1,2]

Hey thanks for the kind words on the art I've passed them onto the artist :)
In terms of progression I had thoughts of using the money you get from the art so it's a trade off of meeting the goal vs making the goal easier.
As for the actual upgrades would of any of the following been useful?
- Different brush sizes

- Different brush heads e.g square

- Different ways to compare the art? e.g a tool to overlap your art with the original

- A preview of the accuracy before placing the art?
Let me know if you had others things in mind :)

Hey fun game - I was surprised when I forged a rocket. It liked the consistency in the art style and the bonking sound of the hammer. Would of enjoyed having a second inventory slot as I had to keep running back to pickup my sword, so it felt like I couldn't make as much use of the cool stuff I forged.

Hey I really like the art on this one for the enemies very cute :) I think this is a great base for a battle system that you could build upon / include as part of a future game

Hey really enjoyed the presentation on this one. The different sized brushes looking unique was a touch I liked :)

I did feel a bit of a disconnect between the music and timed nature of the game, not sure if there would a way to put a small amount of tension into the music track.

Also curious how you implemented your art comparison code? As I used compute_image_metrics and found it hard to work with

Great polish a very complete project and loved art on this project :) I felt sometimes it was unclear if I was hitting the ores or not, maybe a hit effect would be good e.g white flash? Do they have varied amounts of health?

Hey had a great time with this one. Interesting trade offs between building when and where. Like possibly intentionally letting your turrets get destroyed to go elsewhere. :)

Yes I feel you on this, there is never enough time aha

Hey great work on this one love the art, got tripped up by not washing it at first. Might be nice to have the order image include the glow there is after being washed so it's more clear there is an extra step.

Great simple gameplay loop, finally hitting that perfect forge will the yellow bar was great (after many failures)

Hey really enjoyed this one :) The music when creating art is such a bop. When making sculptures after rotating the camera the controls got a bit confusing but otherwise great stuff :)

Also, would like to know how you chose to compare the 2d images for the accuracy of the forgeries?

Really enjoyed spinning the wheel to place it down. I also like how the lasers are not always on and are removed after some time. I'd love to see what we see the keys being used for in future

Creative idea and I liked the drawing sounds very ASMR :) I would of liked to see how accurate each of my drawings was

Hey I enjoyed the puzzle elements of this game, cool idea of forging a path forward. Would be great to see this expanded upon. I think having a visualisation  of the path the NPC would take would be nice
