As others have said, it's not so much a game. I agree with Hoimar, having had some degree of control over the solar system in the form of sliders and nobs, or key presses/mouse clicks, would have been nice. At the very least, you created something and submitted. So nicely done in that regard. ^^

Not a game per se, some sliders and knobs to tune the solar system in real time would’ve been nice.

Still, congrats on submitting!

It's a good experience, not a game in the sense of the world! But was very refreshing!

Music is relaxing. Wish the system had some interactivity.

I enjoyed it, definitely original in relation to the other games I saw so far, though it is pushing the boundaries of what I'd call a game. Still, great entry :)

Submitted

Not exactly a game but it does feel good looking at the planets and listening to the music. I like it. I'm gonna call it an "experimental video game"! :D

Submitted

relaxing indeed. how did you draw the orbits?

Developer

Thank you :) To be honest they're just squashed circles, I broke them up into little segments and called draw_lines 200 times for each before the first frame.

Very simply, but also relaxing and meditativ. The clean look makes it look really stylish.

I think it would be really cool if you would be able to 'center' a planet (or moon) and see the cracy paths of the other bodies around it.

Developer

Thank you! That would have been a cool perspective. I kinda boxed myself in, doing everything in 2d with my own crappy math.

Nice relaxing entry. It would make a great screen savor. I like the graphics.
