Game Description
There's something behind you, and you can feel it... You and your spirit are divided, connected only by a magic cord. The connection will help you in your journey. The fear prevents you from looking back, and all you can do is keep going. Oh, and change gravity aswell. I wonder why. Great game that kept me until the end! The spikes could be less unforgiving: the kill even if you touch them when the gravity does not push you in their direction...
Cool but it is not always obvious that spikes will or not touch you in a given height, so sometimes it didn't and I felt like it should and other time it was the opposite. The concept is awesome and you had a great artstyle and music!
Thank you for playing! Yeah, unfortunately the exact distance between the two characters isnt very intuitive to visualize at all, so I had to design the levels in an extreme way that would feel obvious when it wouldnt or would touch the opposite side. Couldnt fit that philosphy everywhere tho, and it might feel like a trial and error situation... Definetely something to think about! Thank you very much for the feedback!
I was like "oh, so we just need to walk here, heh?" and transitioned to "nonono, can you move a little faster why gra... nevermind". Good idea!
Very nice idea and how you made it into a fun little game. Quite challenging too I have to say. The graphics fit in so well, really makes you feel you are being chased by something and making you make a mistake again and again. Cheers for this great entry. Definitely looking forward to see more from you :)
Thank you very very much for your support! I look forward to make more stuff aswell, so stay tuned :D
I like the idea and the gameplay, but I'm really bad at platformers so I couldn't get past level 3 (I think?) :D I liked the cutesy spooky vibes. Definitely a cool game!
Thank you very much for playing! The end of the level 3 can be kinda hard, even more than the subsequent levels at least "puzzlewise", so don't beat yourself over it hahah
Thanks for the feedback!
very nice game , i realy like the spooky theme and the graphics, also the mecanics are making it quit chalenging , great game!
Thank you so much for playing and for the feedback!
Nice twist on the gravity swapping platformer! I think if you had maybe gone with a lower resolution it would have been a bit easier to track what was happening on both layers at the same time, it was a bit tricky to pause what I was doing and shift my focus up and down.
Hi, thanks for playing! Great suggestion, truly, focusing on both worlds at the same time could be easier with better visuals... I didn't think it through in time, even though I had to do a recolor in the static enemy so the player could see it better, and even then it was still hard to see hahah
I love the theme of the game! The graphics feel really spooky, and the levels really made me think for each move. It's really well-designed!
By the way, sometimes Annie is hanging by her legs, sometimes its by her neck. Is that intentional? I prefer her hanging by the neck since it fits the theme more, but either way works fine :) Also, did you use capsule shaped collisions for the characters? They have a tendency to fall when standing on the edge, even if I'm sure I fell on it just right.
It's a pretty good game overall!
Hey, thanks for playing!
Uh-oh, didn't notice that while playtesting, Annie's supposed to only hang by her neck, so most likely a bug, thanks for pointing it out!
I did use capsule shaped collisions, to prevent some wonky movements when colliding with the moving platforms specifically... For sure not optimal, will try something else next time. Thanks for your feedback!
Neat little puzzle platformer! I like the art, audio and gameplay. I also enjoyed the difficulty!
Very well done!
Thank you very much! Glad to hear that, I was a bit worried with the difficulty, specially with the last level. Thank you for playing!
