At first I was really confused with the controls. then i looked up the games page and notice the controller support. The game was very fun and a delight to playthrough. the end boss could use some animations and effects but overall a great game.

It took me a bit to adjust to the controls, but the difficulty curve in this is nice! I like how nothing is told to you and more items and abilities are unlocked.

Enjoyed cutting grass with my scythe. 10/10 would play again. Haha.

Incredible project. could you pass the code?

Thanks :)

Yea sure, I've just uploaded the source file to the games page.

If you have any questions about the code or sugestions on what could be done better, I'm happy to help and/or learn.

Had great fun with this one! It has a nice progression and proper ending. I love the difficulty curve and how you gradually unlock new items and abilities. It's pretty polished for a jam game. Kudos!

I enjoyed this one quite a bit, it was fun to collect new tools and explore everything, and I liked the style and music!

The controls were good in terms of your abilities, being able to hold jump or the chain button was a nice touch. I wasn't a big fan of binding move to S and D instead of A and D, it was just awkward enough to kill me a few times. I would've used the arrow keys but ZXC were not bound.

The music was super cute and fit well. Adding physics to the lamp was a great detail, it was a lot of fun to run around with it.

I encountered a bug where I didn't need to open the chest at the bottom of the well, at some point once I went down, the chain just appeared in my inventory. The box was already opened when I found it.

Good entry, solid work, it actually kinda makes me want to make a metroidvania style game next time

Oh and it would've been really neat if you could use the lamp or the chain in some way in the boss fight as a sort of final test of what you learned. But I'm willing to guess you just didn't have enough time because that's how jams be

Thankyou very much for the feed back.

Yea I should of/will change, the keyboard controles to how you say. They were hastely added in the last dash with the questionable decision to try and cater for diferent keyboard types. If I had the time I would of liked to add a menu and the ability to change the key bindings.

Thanks, the music was very hastily made on beepbox, an in browser chip tune making tool, i have little music making skill and managed to make some thing that passes as music, i highly recommend it.

D'oh I left the "cheat mode" on the well level.

And yea totaly the case with the boss, just didnt have time.

I'm glad you enjoyed it and thanks again for the feedback.
