Maybe you've got to do something with sound as there is so much turrets at some point.

I like the type of tower defense and it's pretty nice atmosphere until you have more than 20 turrets. Then your ears are crying and the city is smoked. :D

this was delightful actually. at first i didnt realize how much stuff cost and accidentally spent it all on factories. the first bit felt a little overwhelming trying to get turrets in at the last moment to cover the area and it felt like a lull but then the spawn rate picked up. idk its just fun seeing a swarm of lasers zap at asteroids and the entire ground covered in factories. at one point my lasers started syncing up just due to the firing rate.
