The game looks really cool and the music is nice, but the character is too slippery so it's a bit hard to control. Jumping with w was a bit awkward, so maybe more options would be nice. I liked the idea of rolling dice for different blocks, though unfortunately I wasn't able to get very far. The limited hearts made it frustrating to try and get further than the first level. Overall, good effort! I hope you keep making games in the future
Presentation is wonderful, I didn't even mind the movement, I just had to get used to using w to jump. Nice entry!
Nice visuals and music too, unfortunately controls are sloppy and didnt feel great, keep trying and learning please.
Also, would you mind checking my game out if you have time?
Although the character sliding was a bit frustrating at times, it was still pretty cool, absolutely loved the arts and visuals!! So cute honestly
I really love the graphics in this, and the concept of collecting dice that you roll to generate a platform to place is really clever!
Unfortunately, the game suffered in terms of the controls; it ended up being frustrating in terms of difficulty, and I don't think it was necessarily the goal here. A snappier control for the player would have made this a lot nicer to play -- specifically jump height, move speed, and deceleration. If you look at something like Celeste or Hollow Knight, the key to making it so nice to play is the level of control you have over the character; perhaps something to look into (I think GMTK has some videos on this as well, breaking down the specific elements).
Anyway, sorry for the essay; overall not a bad game, with the potential to be quite good!
Looks beautiful, but so hard to control. Maybe make the character less slippery ?
I wasn't able to play this game for very long, unfortunately, because the controls made it so hard I got frustrated very quickly. The art looks really good and I wish I could see more of the game.
The game looks amazing! Makes me want to keep playing. It is very hard tough and the movement feels a bit wierd sometimes, but other than that it is a great game! Good job!
The game was very hard! But what I was able to get to I liked 😊 This is probably the best use of randomness I've seen in one of these games so far. Using a dice roll to pick out an object that'll help you feels fair.
The idea and art are really great and i had a fun time playing :)
I do think the platforming itself is a bit clunky
