Great job on your first game jam game (at least for most of your team like you said). I loved the character art and the overall lore (plus the VO at the start of the game, amazing touch haha) I definitely had some troubles sticking on platforms but it controlled fairly well. I wasn't entirely sure what the dice rolling was doing to be honest, except for once when it caused an enemy to be replaced with a die which was cool. Overall well done!

The models looked really nice! I would've loved to explore more and maybe have more use for the die mechanic but regardless, good work!

Super cute and well animated! The environments look nice, and the platforming controls feel nice, too. I wish the die was a bit more integrated into the gameplay--you can clear the game without rolling it, and most effects seem harmful to the player anyways. But besides that, I think the concept could be nicely expanded!

So cute! I love the models and the world, very nicely created! I wasn't sure what the dice actions were doing other than the one that pushed me back a bit, but overall I enjoyed it and had fun! Great work!

Interesting platform, camera might need a little work. Love the voice acting!

I like the graphics and music. It is also nice, that I can look up and down.

Thank you <3

The graphics looked great for being made in 48 hours!  Very enjoyable visual quality.  The controls could use a little work because it felt awkward moving and rolling dice at the same time.

Also there wasn't any real "feedback" when receiving damage such as a bounce back, sound effect or even a screen shake. The dice health bar, which was actually really nicely done, wasn't immediately noticeable at first so I had no idea I was taking damage until I had one health left and noticed the tiny dice at the top right corner.

I could see a platformer using these aesthetics being a really fun concept though!

Thank you very much. Sadly we didn't have the time and workforce to implement all the gameplay features but we had many wonderful artists on our team. I'm happy you enjoyed our little game <3

I liked how I could continue to play even when i was dead, ahah. I could even jump to the endless void

It's not a bug, it's a feature~ <3

Really nice presentation for only 48 hours, good job! I didn't realise either that the rabbits hurt me, I was using them to jump higher lol :)

Developer

If you freeze them you can jump on them without getting hurt :p
Glad you had fun playing our little game <3

I noticed from the comments that the dice in the top right corner of the screen is my life display. I didn't know that during my playthrough. I was also missing a little feedback for my caster dice. Because sometimes nothing happened. But I would like to add that I think the models are very beautiful, especially since they were all made during the jam period. Really impressive. Overall i think you did a good job with this submission.

Thank you.

This was our first time working as a team and participating in a game jam and for some of us it was the first time making a game over all.

We had planned a lot more but sadly didn't have the time to implement it all as our time had only two half-baked and one full coder whilst we had many artists who worked on the assets.

Again thank you for playing our game and have a lovely day~

Great stuff! Adorable art, did you create the player model for this jam?
I love how the dice actions were communicated through drawings, added a lot to the visual style.

Developer(+1)

Our team of mostly artists made everything from scratch. The player model specifically was completely made by Ashley and Luad made the die icons~

Thank you for enjoying our little game <3

Game was presented very well. Similar in vibe to the little big planet game which brought on positive nostalgia. The connection to dice that I could see was the HP was a die. Was there more to connection that I missed? Everything appeared to work as intended.

Developer

Thank you for playing and enjoying our little game.
I recommend to press 'E' while you play, although it is not made clear anywhere in the game so... whoopsie.
The magic die in the bottom right should make the game a little more fun then :p
