What?! You're 11 and you made this? This is really, really good, especially for an 11 year old. The idea is creative, it works well in the context of the game and is overally quite enjoyable. The aesthetic also lends itself well to its old-school vibe. Overall, great work - you've got a bright future ahead of you, should you decide to continue working on games.

Hey, Andrei, great job! Submitting a game to a game jam is a serious achievement on itself! It's simple, yet catchy. I'd recommend you continuing working on it after the jam - find a way to make controls more responsive, enemies more diverse, maybe some pickups, a looping map, anything. Do not compare your game to anyone else's - just work on it, and make it better. I'm looking forward to see your games in the future!

Beautfiul game with nice and smooth controls ! I only wish the enemies wouldn't change side so randomly to I could preshot my shots :)

Very cool concept, and the visuals are beautiful

Neat little snare beat for backing music. Visuals were pretty nice as well, reminded me a lot of asteroid's vector graphics conceptually, but with a neon oomph. Gameplay, however, was a bit offputting, though still fun in its own way. The concept that the dice are moving towards you and trying to kill you is fine, but the ship has a very slow acceleration, very fast deceleration, and no momentum to speak of, so it's rather unintuitive to control the ship. Also, since there's no penalties for missing, you basically play with space held down the entire time, to get the best fire rate and help you dial in the angle needed for a shot (since unlike your grid-locked opponents, you float freely through space), so removing that and just making it automatically shoot would probably be a little better.

Conceptually, the idea for only being vulnerable when specific faces (I believe it was any even face) was neat, but the dice don't actually follow the progression of a six-sided die, instead randomly flipping between any given face, so there's no real strategy in manipulating the dice to move specific ways and force them to show green faces; it's just hoping that a green face will show up when you're shooting at them. They also have a bit of an erratic movement pattern, where they can jump forward an extra space shortly after moving, and it almost seemed in time with an audio cue, but I can't be 100% sure of that (I did like that, either way, because it made it more interesting, but when I was slowly backing away from one and it suddenly jumped forward two and ate my ship, I got a little salty about that, since it was the first time I saw it).

The waves just getting larger and larger, throwing more dice at you with each wave, though, was uninteresting, and the primary point I'd focus on changing if you were to develop this game further, with the controls scheme right behind it (if I'm fighting the controls as much or more than the enemies, there's a problem, hah). I'd also work on getting the dice to properly respect the orientation that they're travelling and change face accordingly, so that each tile shows the die flipping to the next side as it rolls after your ship. Otherwise, a neat little Game Jam game.

Cool idea and implementation! For a 48-hour jam game, it's actually very impressive!

the way how the game looks like and the music is amazing ! I really love this one.

The game is well-polished which is a rare case for jams :D

Really cool art style and music. The gameplay is nice and seems well polished.

Good job!

Looks like is running on a crt monitor and the neon vibe made everything blend so nice.

Beautiful game, congrats on the submission! 😀

The graphics style, music, and the movement of the dice really make this game work. Sadly the player controls are incredibly tricky to handle which did make the game less fun for me. But honestly this is a really cool start.

Liked the looks a lot! The aim was a bit wacky and I feel the numbers on the dice should do something but I don't know what.

First of all, please know that I've decided to just be honest this year 100% so if anything seems mean I really didn't intend that, just trying to be candid :D

Congrats on completing and submitting! That's a huge accomplishment. I see what you were going for here. I really like the visuals & sound, good choices. The controls work but feel a bit too 'tanky' for my liking. That's just a personal preference, though.

As for originality and fitting with the theme.... well, I mean, you know it's an Asteroids clone, basically. Can't give high marks for originality there, and dice don't really have anything to do with what's going on other than just... being the asteroids. The color change is a nice touch, but combined with the tank controls I find it a bit jarring. Two very different movement styles.  I honestly didn't try out the different difficulties, but I appreciate it being an option (I usually go for 'easy' these days).

Overall--- I think this is a really solid little game, just not super original and maybe not the best fit for this jam. :)

PS- the CRT/arcade shader is top-notch

Really Nice Game. Visuals are really clean and nice looking. Would love seeing some update on the controls after the jam ends. Great Job!

Thanks, stay tuned, because a update is being planned shortly after the voting is over!

Controls were a bit weird but apart from that this was really cool. I did find it easier to just stay still and let the dice come to me.

I really like how the dice moved with the bass.

Great game!

I really enjoyed this. I felt like the tank controls weren't the best fit, but I found it really fun anyways. The art and presentation was flawless, I love how you nailed the look without any concessions.

Thanks for the feedback, maybe we can add an option for click-to-shoot, so you have more precision.
