this is a unique interpretation of the theme and very nostalgic ride. Would be interested to see where you take things after the jam, if you choose to do! Well done! Would appreciate your feedback on our game in this last hour! Cheers!

I love these types of games! I played it with a smile on my face. Now I'll be wondering what would happen next 😂 Great job!

I’m really glad you enjoyed it! Your feedback made my day :D

A creative and very natural fit to the theme all smothered in wavy gravy!

Developer

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!

Absolutelly hits too close to home and this totally wasn't me in 2005. I love games that incorporate PC UIs and this one has a lot of mystery unfolding that unfortunately is too short of an experience to properly answer. Genuinely my only gripe with the game is its length, as it causes the looping aspect of it to not really be fully utilized, but I love the concept and crave for more. Otherwise, all the polish that went into making the game feel like an old-school install of windows is very cool.

Developer

Thanks so much! Really encouraging for future work!

Really unique, love your take on the theme, and love the vibe! The UI is a little broken on my ultra-wide monitor, but you should be able to fix that by forcing a normal 16:9 resolution.

Overall the aesthetic and story was super cool. Great job!

Thanks so much! So glad you liked it. I’ll definitely look into adding more screen options. Appreciate the feedback!

Dang the effort that went into this! sadly tooo short! Would have loved more, 10/10 looking forward to more! :)

Reminds me of games like Killer Chat! Storing school stuff in trash bin is a neat touch. Love it!!!!!

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much!! Glad you liked that detail :D

I like all the effort you put into this to make it look like an actual desktop. You definitely touched on the paranoia of accidentally downloading malware. Well done!

Developer

Really glad that came through! Thank you!!

This reminded me of the old Flash games that got me into indie games and game dev. I could see this being a great escape room type game for sure!

Developer(+1)

Thaanks!

Good point! I definitely see the escape room potential :D

This was a really unique idea, and I enjoy the concept! It was fun to poke around and explore the menus and things. I liked the secret cat photos too. I enjoyed the building anticipation, but wish there was more so we could see more loops and the full idea of haunted homework :P .

I do wish the great music in the music player would still be on after exiting the program, and maybe some creepy BG music when things start breaking, or more creepy SFX or something.

I want more. I need a full game of this.

Developer

More to come soon! :D

This was a neat recreation of the old windows OS system with the game and everything!

Nice idea, Kinda didn’t get at the first loop but really nailed the entire loop theme as well as every dialogue and part of the story was perffect Can’t wait to see the full game.

Developer(+1)

That’s very ecouraging! Glad you enjoyed it!

Fun nostalgic ride. And maybe made me a little more paranoid about all the files I'm downloading for the jam haha

Developer

Haha good point!

Thank you for the feedback!

Cool to see a little bit different take on the theme, this was also one of the most polished games I've played. I'm usually not that into creepy games but I was curious to play further. I really like the touch of choosing your OS avatar, brings me back.

No notes except that I'd like to see more ;)

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much! hopefully there’s more to come!

Developer(+1)

I always hate it when my school teacher consumes the souls of my friends and uses them to trick me into downloading his super virus that forces me to do his homework assignments that I had been procrastinating.
