Cool, it reminded me of Ben the skeleton (MediEvil) top
Liked the game :D. Just need more polish and ready to go. I also think it would be cool to speed up the death animation, because the player die a lot in short runs... Besides that, Great job :D
this a really interesting take on the theme but while i definitely did enjoy the artwork and the narrative. the actual combat/gameplay feels janky at best. i didn't understand when i took damage nor when can i block and the animations made it way worse. more visual feedback on whether my hits or their hits land/blocked would be really nice.
Very charming game and I love the art <3
Really creative idea, and a really clever way to tie in the loop with the narrative!
I got a bug where if you and the knight kill each other at the same time, you get stuck as a dead body with the minotaur x)
Art was top notch, looked super clean and polished. Well done!
Thank you for playing our game. We are already aware of this bug and will fix it after the jam.
Loved this game! The art and vibe are top! The concept and the way you integrate the loop is really cool! The sound design makes the combat really feel impactful which is really nice! Just the blocking feels a bit weird sometimes but other than that it's a really solid game and entry on this jam! Congrats everyone!
thx for your kind feedback! have a nice day =)
each time that I think it cant get better, I find a new game which proves me that I'm wrong. the art and gameplay and also narrative is beautiful man. I love it. good job. its ambition project but has a lot of potential. I really love to see this in steam. nice job
very warm feedback. huggin you
Interesting concept. I liked how you combine roguelite elements with fighting game. Also, it looks great, really like the style.
One issue I was stuck early on is, that you are taught to click throught the dialogue with spacebar. But then suddenly you are tasked to click an option with a mouse. It is not clearly indicated that you are supposed to do something different (the button does not highlight when mouse is over it) and the text still indicates that I should press "space".
What I think might also also improve the game is a bit more responsive combat - like right now there is a little pause after an attack where I cannot do anything, which was very annoying to me. Then the little things like showing my characters health, showing graphically what each upgrade option does so I do not have to read the whole text.
Thanks for the feedback! We will think about how to improve the interface. Regarding the display of the player's health, we thought that he would get this opportunity during the pumping, but we did not have time to implement it, we will think about it after the jam.
progression was probably a bit slow for me, but i really enjoyed the concept and the art <3 oh i also really liked the music shift from alive to dead hehe
We are very pleased for such warm words, we will continue to try to improve the gaming experience, thank you!
Very creative! Once I understood what was going on, I was pretty invested. I only wish getting through the first enemy was a little faster. What I learned after this jam was it's sometimes better to push the content of your game closer to the start just to make sure all your players have a chance to experience the whole thing. Of course, this doesn't apply to every game, but that is something that I took away when receiving feedback for my game :) You guys did a fantastic job!
This was one of the most interesting games I've played for this jam! Awesome job!
Everything is good, especially the art and narrative, probably one of the best narrative game i've played so far. Gameplay is cool with the upgrades but it does feel like its just a grind to get strong enough. Still amazing job
The whole narrative is pretty great and funny, but it just… takes so long to get strong enough! Though, yes it does fit the theme pretty well, and the gameplay does make sense with the narrative, so I’m not sure what to make of it.
I will say, when you get there though, boy does it feel good.
Very interesting ! I love the art and the concept but it's a bit repetitive to me. Congrats it was fun to play and really beautifull !
Really loved the atmosphere in this one. The concept of reliving the skeleton’s life in a loop was super intriguing, and I appreciated how the story slowly unfolded. Took me a few tries to catch on, but that actually made it more engaging. Nicely done!
Controls a bit sluggish and it's hard to tell when you can attack or shield again. But I adore narrative games. Even if I couldn't complete it this is one of my favorites from this jam. I hope you make a polished version someday.
Very interesting game! The theme works perfectly, and the fiddly combat really fits the game.
I suggest having the above text as the first line on your game page. It's the most relevant line of text.
its nice to see a deep game in a jam and one that do it good
It was satisfying to get stronger every time you start the loop. Nice game and great art work :) Well made!
I really like the combat and pixel art, love nice pixel art, fighting the boss was a good challenging fight. I frickin stink at combat games but still enjoyed my time lol
