Very creative! Once I understood what was going on, I was pretty invested. I only wish getting through the first enemy was a little faster. What I learned after this jam was it's sometimes better to push the content of your game closer to the start just to make sure all your players have a chance to experience the whole thing. Of course, this doesn't apply to every game, but that is something that I took away when receiving feedback for my game :) You guys did a fantastic job!

This was one of the most interesting games I've played for this jam! Awesome job!

Everything is good, especially the art and narrative, probably one of the best narrative game i've played so far. Gameplay is cool with the upgrades but it does feel like its just a grind to get strong enough. Still amazing job

The whole narrative is pretty great and funny, but it just… takes so long to get strong enough! Though, yes it does fit the theme pretty well, and the gameplay does make sense with the narrative, so I’m not sure what to make of it.

I will say, when you get there though, boy does it feel good.

Very interesting ! I love the art and the concept but it's a bit repetitive to me. Congrats it was fun to play and really beautifull !

Really loved the atmosphere in this one. The concept of reliving the skeleton’s life in a loop was super intriguing, and I appreciated how the story slowly unfolded. Took me a few tries to catch on, but that actually made it more engaging. Nicely done!

Controls a bit sluggish and it's hard to tell when you can attack or shield again. But I adore narrative games. Even if I couldn't complete it this is one of my favorites from this jam. I hope you make a polished version someday.

Very interesting game! The theme works perfectly, and the fiddly combat really fits the game.

Attention!!! - the control works, just wait a little and read dialogues.

I suggest having the above text as the first line on your game page. It's the most relevant line of text.

its nice to see a deep game in a jam and one that do it good

It was satisfying to get stronger every time you start the loop. Nice game and great art work :) Well made!

I really like the combat and pixel art, love nice pixel art, fighting the boss was a good challenging fight. I frickin stink at combat games but still enjoyed my time lol

Captured the souls-like experience so well, even with the roles reversed. Took me a while but very satisfying in the end. Bravo!

Neat idea and execution

The knight's name is a highlight, haha! I like the concept. The controls are kinda janky, but they get the job done. :) Nice work!

This is a great game! I loved how all the philosophy, story and the theme behind it is woven into the mechanics. I learned to move and then attack through existentialism which was fun. The combat felt a a bit clunky, I couldn't understand when I can attack or when I took damage or not. Still tho, I managed to finish the game bc the idea behind it made want to push through to see the ending. I love the art style too. Those code sequences makes a great addition to the atmosphere, that made me more immersed into the game. Even the little details like how you integrated the credits into the narrative structure of the game was worth the time. With polished combat this game would be perfect!

What a beautiful game! Both in terms of aesthetics or "dialogs". Really enjoyed playing :)

I really enjoyed the humor  especially the knight's name :D

I really like this idea! Looping through death cycles to make yourself stronger, awesome idea! So far, this is the only game that I have played to the very end. Excellent job!

Thank you very much for your feedback!

Very cool concept, and it works very good for this theme. I will say that the pacing is a bit slow with how long there is between loops. I loved the art. I also found it funny how just like in Dark Souls, being awkwardly close to the opponent is usually the best course of action. Great job!
