level clear portal should spawn at last enemy's death location but this is pretty enjoyable. mechanics are tight and it's fun trying to get enemies to self delete with their own dynamite if you are too close haha

I like the art and the combat felt really good! So definitely good job!
Nice game. Loved that I could have the enemies blow each other up. Did have an issue where my mouse cursor was not properly aligned with the ingame cursor.
I love the character art but I found the gameplay a little lacking. Congratulations on your first Jam entry though! That's something to be proud of. I think there's something cool here (Nuclear Throne + Bow and Arrows?), where more thought is put into shooting your enemies because you have to hold and release. Keep making cool stuff!!
The art and music is nice. But i can't say i enjoyed the game. Maybe like first two levels but after that, I don't really saw a point or a motivation to continue. (i played until the game looped back to the 1st level). For a first game jam it is pretty solid and I think you should continue participating in game jams and improving yourself! I do see some potential!
P.S.: Making me walk back to the start is pure evil!
A nice entry for a first game jam!
I usually give honest feedback, so it might seem harsh, but I have the best intentions. There is a lot of room for improvement. I think the biggest problem this game has is probably the lack of rewarding the player. What I mean by that is that the game is very simple, shoot all goblins -> walk to exit, this is fine simple games are great and all, but there isn't anything else to it, usually when you see games like that you have some kind of upgrade system, enemies change from time to time, hell even a timer would be great so that you can see how fast you've played trough a level.
Other than that, I think the player movement could be improved - made more dynamic, and shooting could become more satisfying, adding some knockback, particles, and flashing the sprites of hit enemies would make the game feel much better. That being said, it's an impressive game for a first gamejam, especially only a 4-day one. I won't comment on art and sounds since you haven't made them, but you did implement them well. I do like the amount of levels, and to be honest, I enjoyed shooting the goblins even if it wasn't the best game I've played here.

Hey thanks for the feedback! I definitely agree with the things you've said, I sadly spent a lot of time figuring out how to do stuff and ran out of time to implement more of the game lol. I'll be trying to add some more stuff in the next few weeks and see where I end up. I'll definitely be doing this Jam again next year.
