How does your game fit the theme?
the idea was take the paint lasso tool from... well paint, and imagine if someone socially awkward got that sort of power to move and scale objects... so most of the puzzles are real life experiences :D

LÖVE! the games concept is really interesting imo. i believe it can (and should!!) be made into a full game sometime ^-^ btw, i think this abstract artstyle suits the game, sprites arent really needed all that much :3

Developer(+1)

another LÖVE playa!! i really appreciate the kind words, i def wanna continue/iterate on the project later :D ur game is beautiful btw ^_^

I absolutely loved the MS paint inspiration and the frenchman is the best character

Looping with the lasso tool is a fun idea

Developer

yippee :D

Probably one of my favorite concepts so far, definitely has a lot of room for exploration

Developer

thank you!!

The idea of the game being built around the lasso tool is great.

Picking things up such as the balls and throwing them to get rid of the dog was just so creative and intuitive.

Really neat game!

Developer

WAHH really appreciate it, thank you :)

Developer

thank you and thanks for playing!

The concept is really cool, although it's a bit frustrating to click on the items sometimes, I wish there was a bigger margin to click on.

I read that you guys had issues art-wise, but I think you could make it part of the game's charm! I mean, simple, colored shapes fit really well with the msPaint vibe you wanted to have ^^

If you continue developing it a bit more, you guys could have a really cute puzzle game!

Developer(+1)

thank you! i actually really appreciate the feedback and since i'll likely come back to this concept, i will take these to heart :) thank you again for playing!

I like it :)

Developer

yippee ~ thank you for playing :D

It was quite fun. I kind of failed at the random guy because I couldn’t figure out what I was supposed to do there

Developer

thank you for playing! oopsies -- that one is a bit unclear but you don't have to do anything but stand there and he'll move away after a few seconds... a real life experience of me getting talked to by a drunk french man and not knowing what to do T_T

Ayy! Fellow love2d dev! Awesome project, a little hard to understand how things move/work but with a little jank it all works out. My platform-game instinct was so strong, I was gonna smash my 'space' key trying to jump over the obstacles for a while lol

Developer

haha yippee love2d!! i appreciate the kind words and feedback -- def wanted to improve the in-game tutorial + add art to help w/ learning how things work but yeah time did not permit. lol very fair it looks set up to be a platformer xD

Nice work!

Developer

thank you!

The art kind of reminds me of Thomas was Alone

Developer

thank you! it's technically the placeholder art but Thomas was Alone was an inspo for it xD

really cute idea of 2d world but mouse for the wand to select. innovative idea. Really like it even though I struggled a bit.

Developer

thank you! apologies for the struggle >_< i wish i could've fixed some of the puzzles to be a lil more intuitive. but thank you for playing :)

Hey, cool concept, for some reason I can't get past the "I don't feel like getting wet!", tried moving the platform, the balls, scaling, trying to use the platform as a way to fly but nothing works, feeling a little dumb :/ how can I go past that?

Submitted(+1)

I think its kind of like a fire hydrant. You have to place something above it to close the leak

Developer

AH you're not dumb! i def should've made helped make it clearer -- like the other comment mentioned, you need to use the lid (which is that skinny grey rectangle on the ground near it) and place it on top to cover it. hopefully that helps :)
appreciate you playing!!
