Hey! Nice to see you around here again from the last gmtk! We noticed too that the difficulty curve seems unnusual because it starts "hard" then it progresses to be easy again when suddenly it becomes even harder next wave, so much so that actually I had to edit my score on leaderboard just to see how it shows the megabrain text in game but forgot to fix it again, so technically you are the first to get the megabrain rank, nice job!
Good to see you again, maybe we'll meet again next year! gl!

Impressive artwork and sound design, just felt that the difficulty ramp is a little too soft, overall nice work!

This for sure gave me some tendinitis, but it was worth it! Nice work!

Thanks for rating our game! Yours is really impressive, left a comment there too, amazing work!

For me this is one of the top jam games by far! Really simple idea and really well executed, impressive work!

Solid take, and a funny interaction where the cart, for some reason, was moving faster going backwards and accidentally pushed every store shelf! Nice work!

Interesting take, the cutscenes look really polished, it wasn't until the first win that I noticed that I had abilities, but trying to master dodging the enemies while reaching the objective as fast as possible was a nice challenge, good job!

Holy! Really impressive work, the parry mechanic and the visuals are really next level! Good job!

Interesting take, increasing the cooldown for each direction maybe would make the game a little more challenging, but overall good job!

Took me a while to understand how to reload, really challenging game, especially at the end, nice game!

The idea of the barrel + combo with different bullets is really awesome, overall, a well-executed game for the jam!

Simple but well executed! Just a tip, it seems that when moving faster the player starts to jitter a little, it is probably because of the mismatch between update and physics update, since this is a Godot game, just enable physics interpolation, and it should fix it

Overall nice aesthetics and minigames that really conveyed how troublesome a cat can be. Nice game!

Took me a while to understand that instead of throwing the bomb around I should time my throw with the bomb countdown, I know that this mechanic is to adhere more with the jam theme, but I can't stop into thinking how much more satisfying it would be to explode on contact. Overall, nice game!

Perfect land? I always thought jumping on red would cost me a life, is there a way to prevent losing that life?

Really challenging trying to wrap my head around the numbers, positioning, and the colors, but I still got 1 entire line with 1 color! Although only one time 😅 Nice game! Good visuals!

Flawless execution, everything is really well polished!

Nice concept! This first level is super challenging, even more than jump king though haha

Good idea! Object pooling would help a lot in the game's performance! Thanks for sharing it!

Thanks!

Glad you liked it! Unfortunately, we lost 2 days' worth of code and had little time to balance, so it ended up a little too unfair 😅

Took way too long to notice that I could upgrade the CPU 😭, maybe it would be better if I just select which type to put in the loop, and the next time it will pick automatically if it has at least one, having to drag and drop all the time was a little exhausting 😅, but overall really unique and polished game! 👍

I wonder what happened for the turrets not to shoot 🤔, I always used 5x too, thanks for playing tho!

Very polished game with a nice concept, hitting the lassoed enemies into the others was a little satisfying, I think physics would complement this game in a very interesting way!

Excellent narrative, some cards were really deep! But with no real consequence, in the description you mentioned 6 lifeforms, but only played 3, idk if that was a bug or not, also played a lot of cards but couldn't break the loop 😓

Thanks!

Very creative and unique idea! The artwork was really well done and consistent! Getting the sushi into the right place was sometimes a bit tricky, but fun! Overall, pretty polished game!

Thanks!

Nice game! Sometimes I got frustrated with shooting myself😅. But great use of the jam theme, with some potential by adding more enemy types!

Cool! Glad you liked it, yours is pretty satisfying too hitting multiple targets with 1 swing! 😆

Oh, sad to hear that you passed a similar problem, it is soo frustrating thinking of what the project would be if we didn't lose that precious time 😣, even tho ~60% of my comment was saying about what I dislike I for sure gave your game an excellent rating! Everything else was really well done, it even had an full blown tutorial! A lot of stuff for this small time window was done for sure with huge quality too! Congrats 😉

But each dot appears based on distance or time? I was circling a really large portion all the time, idk if it was intentional or not

Hey, thanks for playing our little game! Cool to hear that the auto-battling is also appreciated!
Yes, performance is a little problem we have currently, if you have too many units with a lot of attack speed it can get really bad, but we also got a Windows build for better performance 😬.
About the game balance, unfortunately was a thing we couldn't make it better at the time, we lost 2 days of work by accidentally deleting the project 😓. About the turret, it was planned at one point having the ability or a buff that places turrets in other planets with different bullet types, good to hear that we were in the right path, thanks for sharing!

Also played your game and left a comment there! 😎

Cool game, really liked the character and cutscenes in general! Also found out that the circle limit is not about the number of dots but by time! So I was just circling the entire screen as fast as possible 😬, the unconventional camera movement was a little too harsh for me though 😓

Oh, such detailed feedback, thanks a lot! 💖 Let's address some points

  1. Sad to hear that we have such a performance, web builds are always less perfomant compare to native ones, I've also included an windows version because of that
  2. In my head that made sense since the earth is getting invaded by an more tech advanced alien, but shooting through the sun is a thing to fix!
  3. Unfortunately, I've deleted 2 days worth of development of the project, and didn't have enough time to balance the levels, they were done in the last 30 minutes 😅 even myself didn't know the game was beatable, just discovered after playing for some time 😂, it is a thing we have to improve!

Also played your game and left a comment there! Such an impressive one for sure!

Wow, such rich art in general, really awesome music, graphics, particles, and sfx, oh those explosion sfx sure are satisfying! But also found myself a little off sometimes by having to control the ship only by gravity and shooting at the same time, sure is a little hard controlling this ship to where I wanted 😅, also I found that getting enough money to buy an upgrade took too long! But really absolute blast of a game in general!

Oh, that's sad :(

I've also included a Windows build to get better performance, but sad to hear that the web version was not performant enough, but thanks for playing my game though!

Also just rated your game, really impressive!

Such a unique mechanic with good puzzles! It really took me a while to notice the little dots going around the pillar, once I saw the top one, then it clicked what this game was about! Really cool! A struggle of mine was when skipping large portions of the screen and had to keep spamming the WASD multiple times, but really awesome game!

Thanks, even though it was the only thing not done by us 😅
