Really like the game loop and the artwork!! The sound when the tiles change is very satisfying :)

Very creative gameplay loop here. However sometimes it was hard to know when the character can move towards outside the map to be looped the other side, since the paths are a bit hard to see. But definitely liked the game loop. The bgm suits well. Nice effort! I would love to know your thoughts on my game as well :)

Very interesting gameplay, perfectly suited to the roguelike genre, with a lot of potential. Well done :)

Like a tiny version of chess, interesting! The window didn’t scale with my screen so I had to peek really closely to see, but good job!

im not the hugest fan of roguelikes as a genre so i'll try not to let that cloud my judgement here while rating. i think this was really very good! i think people who do like the genre will get a lot out of this, im impressed by actually how much like rogue it is? most people make a roguelike and its just a vibes based pick 3 things proc gen game but you could very much feel the dna of the original rogue in this, and it takes a lot of the benefits of that! the way you battle monsters in this really helps to build a unique narrative within runs, and i love the aesthetics and color palette. overall fantastic work honestly, even if i dont like these sorts of games much, rated very highly!

I like your artwork it was so cool and gameplay it really not that hard as i ever think at first before play.

If possible, can you please vote my game and leave a comment too?

I like the game, I wish there were more enemies. I got stuck on move 8 ;(

Cool concept of using space loops in board game. Great design in allowing some strategic plays to reduce randomness. Fun to play despite the initially very small board size. Very polished art style. The thin walls can be made more obvious though. It may be better to show the information of enemies when hovering over them.

Thanks for playing. Yes we don't see the walls enough, i agree.

This might actually be the most interesting game I have played in this jam. I think you might have something that is worth expanding on! Unbelievably well done. Such an interesting concept.

Developer

Thank you so much

Wow, this is so fun! Definitely one of the best games I've played so far in the jam. Such a good take on the theme as well! I played it for a long time, until I unknowingly stumbled upon the win screen :)

Developer

thank you

A little bit confusing at first, because of controls and the nature of the map. I like the Art Nouveau elements.

Developer

Thanks for playing. Yes we don't see the walls enough I think.

Cool roguelike! I can play it for a long time. The graphics and sounds are aesthetic. But it would be great to write about the controls, I didn't immediately think to try pressing the arrows, because I'm used to WASD and the mouse in other games.

Thanks. I added the controls in the description.

I really loved the art in this one and enjoyed the puzzle aspect.  I found it very difficult to understand what the valid moves were and what my goal was, but it looked great! :)  The card purchases were a nice surprise as was the fighting mechanism.
