Yes yes yes. This is great! Way better if you download it than play in browser (using Brave on windows). Color scheme is perfect, super cute game. Now to go binge it..

I love this art style, it's so pretty! The blobs are adorable, especially the gatherers with their tiny bags :)

I'd agree with other commentors that it's a bit of a slow start - I had around five or six farms placed as close as possible to the town hall before I was able to get my first town hall upgrade - but once it gets going this is really intense!

Loved that the blobs would complain if you pick them up, lovely touch :)

Nice entry, loved the art style! In my opinion, things could happen a bit faster, but I liked it anyway :)

I like the art style. Very cute game ! <3

Very good job, I enjoyed playing it ^^

Nice art and cool concept! On side a note, I thought the game took a little bit too long for things to "actually start happening" - the game becomes much cooler when you have a bunch of stuff (maybe it's part of the genre, but those are my 2 cents). Overall, good job on the great game!

I LOVE simple city builders, and this one is really cute and fun :) I would love if the costs of stuff was less, but I kept playing because I liked it!

Pretty neat concept, a merging of tower defense, city building and idle games, though I feel the execution could be a bit better. Namely, instead of having waves come on a timer, for an idle game I'd say it'd be better if you could choose to start the wave whenever, but the enemies in it got stronger with time, so you can wait and farm resources or keep em weak while putting your town in danger. Just a suggestion though, really cool game regardless!

That’s an amazing review, thank you very much for your suggestion! We definitely didn’t spend enough time on actually designing the game. We had a rough idea of what we wanted it to look like,  but as the jam progressed we realized we’d have to cut back on scope and objectives to make for the slow development speed. Your suggestion is definitely appreciated and could be a step in the right direction for our game!

Love the colour palette (although the text was hard to read sometimes). Not sure if I was doing something wrong but it felt like it was taking a very long time to get my area built up, and seeing that some things cost 100's of currency felt like an unachievable goal. Really fun concept and aesthetic though.

Thanks for the review! You’re right that we should have allocated more time for balancing the game, but you know how it is with these tight jam deadlines :D

Really relaxing to play. I enjoyed playing it !

Banger music headbanged all the way through the game. Also really like the art.

Great game design, good art and music. but I do think the early stage of the game I have a little bit faster paste, but everything else are decent.
Ps: I really like the responds when you click the character.

Love the style. But had a hard time making it through the early game. I feel it needs some balancing.

Well done though!

You’re right we totally overlooked the start of the game because we ran out of time! Do you feel the gameplay is too slow even after building farms that generate more resources?

Submitted(+1)

I had four farms running, but never got to building anything which gave me more workers. Maybe add an option which lets you build some cheaper housing early on ?

For reference, I managed to get around 100 resources at most at any time.

Thanks for the info! Really appreciate the feedback.

This game is so cute! omg I love how interacting with the lil villagers in certain ways provokes certain reactions that's a really nice attention to detail. I wish I could kill the enemies more effectively, but other than that this is a nice game. Love the color pallet!

Very cute game! I like the art style. I wish it was a little bit faster at the start. Good work!

Love this! I would love a more fleshed out version of this game to play. Really loved the color palette and could definitely put a lot of time into playing this - nice work!

A bit slow, but a really cool game nonetheless!

Great game, wish it was a little faster pace though. Nevertheless, I had a lot of fun playing :D

The artstyle and color palette were amazing. I was missing some kind of tower to defend the city at the beggining since the barracks were to expensive. I really like it tho <3

Cute game, and can get quite addicting. Liked the art and the colours, though I wish the game either had a bit more challenge or more things to do while waiting for those dark spots to collect.

Felt a little unfair until I realized I could zoom out! This is a cute game with very nice art. I wish there was an option for a fast forward to grow things a bit faster. Nice job!
