Fun little game! I was missing a "continue to next level" butten (or using Enter) and some sound effects for clicking the items. Feels rather polished otherwise. Good job. :+1:.
Also, the items rotated violently after I picked them up. You could consider dampening the rotational force on the first .25 seconds after picking it up or so. Although the rotating also feels like part of the charm and could give a feel for the item's weight. ^^
Looks great, and the different items are so fun. Controlling them is a bit tricky, but I think it's part of the challenge, and contributes to the wacky vibe.
Really nice interpretation of the theme. I completed all levels with 3 starts and this allows me to offer advice as I am clearly a pro gamer :D
I would have loved to see more items, of more weights. Items that react to eachother, or can't be stacked/are fragile. The time limit was so long it felt like it made more sense to have a limit on dropped items as part of the score, 3*s requiring no droppages, or something similar
That said though, great work, implementation was good, no major bugs, all felt good!
Well done!
Controls feel a bit finicky, and I had some issues with the rubber ducky spasming, but I really loved this game, particularly the art. I think it would be additionally helpful if there was an audio cue when you get close to the timer running out!
Cool game! Interesting interpretation of the theme and what a task it ended up being for the player
For a first time entry it's a great game, it has everything to be a complete game. More variation on the target weight would be nice but that didn't stop me from getting medals on all the levels. Come check out the fish swarmer to see a game completely made by not game devs .
Cool game, reminds me of old flash games in a way.
THIS GAME IS GREAT.
its fun, unique art that makes me want to laugh.
Please make a mobile sequel.
my one complaint would be more variations in target weight.
Cute and creative game
Fun game! Had a blast playing it. Excellent art and style too. Great work!
adorable game with a simple premise, topped with a literal scale 👍
Having to think about the numbers made this really enjoyable especially with all these little creatures trying to explode toward the moon!
Very charming! the swingy physics feel very appropriate, well done!
Cute but challenging game, I liked all the different objects you could stack and the spritework was very fitting. Good job!
Awesome game. I love how each item has unique personalities and traits and I had a great time checking them out to see what they do. It's also fun doing some planning on what items to use to get the perfect weight.
A bit repetitive but I really loved the art style, everything with googly eyes!
Dark Souls of scaling games. The controls were my biggest enemy, outside of that it was a lot of fun. One bug I noticed is when I finished a level and wanted to retry for more stars, the HUD for winning wouldnt dissapear when clicking the retry button on the bottom left.
I perhaps enjoyed it too much!
The ducks are evil, but the challenges felt simple enough, good work!
That means the world! The duck was my spirit animal this game jam. Love that little quacker.
really cool interpretation of the theme, and i love the art style where there are eyes on everything. had fun going back to levels to get 3 stars on them all, idk if it’s just the webGL version but the movement was a little jerky, maybe part of the challenge though. well done excellent game :D
Thank you for trying our game. I wish we had more levels to satisfy that "I gotta get 'em all" feeling. We're happy you enjoyed the short experience. The "jerky movement" you're referring to was not initially intentional, but it very quickly got labeled a "feature" during development.
