A nice customizable game
Lovely art style. I kind of don't get the point of scaling the size, is it supposed to make some jumps easier? Good job!
I think my heart rate is higher than usual now
Cool game, very tense, incredibly slippery, extremely difficult. Still fun to try and wrangle this solid brick of ice, and man is it super gut-wrenching to watch the climber slide off.
i really enjoyed the slipping and sliding controls of this game well done!
checkout my game
What a tricky but realistic physics game. Love the minimalist palette you picked. It was frustrating to lose all your momentum against a wall, but I suppose ice block collisions are not very elastic..
Thanks for the game (:
Simply making it ice just adds more to the challenge. Greatful that there were no limits on turns allowed or Id have given up. Good use of the theme and well made game.
A really fun challenge! The controls are pretty intuitive, which made it easy to jump in. Well done!
Really fun! although i found a sneaky little bug >:)
i just get stuck to the ceiling when i hit the corner at a certain angle, and its not rare cuz i was able to do this twice (second time was to get this photo lmao)
erm akshually (。- .•) thats due to a variation of hydroplaning and the tendency of that small amount of water to rapidly re-freeze if its attached to any sizable mass of ice. so its not a bug its physics (˶˃⤙˂˶)
mb bro one sec lemme hit up my homie einstein...
nope he's still in his grave. bummer.
i guess i'll take your word for it then! looks at you suspiciously
You didn't even beat the game in your speedrun! I did my own run and finished the game in 4:22.74 :)
Congrats on beating my game and my record! I guess your the new reigning champ, and im just the guy whos now looking for a new hobby.... like knitting or competitive yodeling ( 。 •̀ ᴖ •́ 。)
I absolutely love the convergence of the slippery ice and the flinging mechanic. Love the levels too! Super fun game! We were considering having our character fling as well (which I still may explore, especially after playing yours), but we ended up opting for just typical jump and run. If you’d like to play it, I’d love your opinion on adding flinging here, especially after you’ve spent some time thinking about designing around it. Either way, super great game and art :D
Cool style, creative!
Really cool one with the whole use the concept of scale, fantastic.
This is a nice approach to the idea. It would be nicer if all the floors weren't icy.
This game is so evil and mean and unforgiving and I love it! I am nowhere near good enough to finish this game, but I love games that are unapologetically HARD. The art is simple but really fits the game (and makes falls feel a bit less infuriating). I hope you continue doing what you love you sadist bastard!
ive noticed how many people are struggling, so i wanted to show off my mad skills with this speedrun video, watch and learn:My speedrun record just got a makeover! Looks like I’ll have to start charging admission for the new 'How To Lose in Style' tutorial!"
I managed to jump out of the first part once and then fell back in xD! the concept is really fun but it'd be nice if it was a bit more forgiving
Like most people apparently, I found the game pretty hard. I really wanted to go further, but I struggled quite a bit. The game however feels good and polished, so that's still a +! Congratulation for making this in only 48h :D
Add me to the list of people struggling to get past the first obstacle. The idea has some potential, but here's what most of my experience was:
The art style is so neat! It gives me PICO-8 Celeste vibes.
