How does your game fit the theme?
"Scale" can refer to scalling a wall or a mountain. The core gameplay mechanic is building handles to help the mouse scale the cheese., which is almost exactly the theme definition. This is the definition we were going for. The game also plays with scales by the use of the giant wall of cheese and the cat, along with oddly sized obstacles.

This is a fascinating gameplay loop! The randomness of the triangle makes for some interesting decisions, but there were a few times I felt I got random'd into the wall or an obstacle. It feels tense and fast paced while still allowing for time to think, and the art and sound perfectly bring the vibe across!
I encountered the bug about some black images on scene. But the game idea is really fun!
I just wanted my cheese, but alas, the pussy-cat had a snack.
Neat art and sfx. I don't quite understand the controls but nevertheless I had a tone of fun with game. Great work!

L'idée est top, j'ai mis du temps à comprendre mais une fois que t'as compris ça roule de fou !
Visuellement y a des trucs qui marche super bien, j'aime bcp l'anim des pattes du chats sur les côtés.
Mon seul reproche serai que le thème s’inscrit dans le contexte plus que dans le gameplay.

C'est vrai qu'on comprend pas toujours directement faudrait ajouter une meilleure introduction au jeu après la jam :/
Pour le thème le but était justement d'essayer d'être original en détournant le sens du thème avec l'idée de construire en plaçant des prises (built) pour gravir la montage (to scale). Après c'est vrai que ça aurait pu être mieux intégré au gameplay, merci de la remarque j'essayerais de faire mieux à ma 2ème game jam !

About the controls, we have to do a better tutorial ofter the jam. You had to click in the green triangle to move the mouse. The direction is random, but you control the intensity. You can place your hold further in the triangle to go faster and farther, or closer to avoid obstacles. You can take your time, but not too much, or the cat will attack! :0
If you want you can play it again to have a better experience if my explanation is clear
The game was hard but the cheese gave me the force to move forward ! Graphics are great too so well done !
Great game. Took a few trials until i figured out what i should evade and what i can't click on.
The art and sound were enjoyable and funny.
Really unique gameplay idea! Getting that combo is pretty fun, especially twice in a row. Maybe some other small but effective mechanics to make the gameplay more varied to really enhance the fast-paced experience
This game has a really cool and playful cartoonish vibe. While a more consistent design could enhance the overall experience, the art style and coding are first class. Notably, the page layout is exceptionally well-organized compared to other enteies. I just wish the game in and of itself was a bit easier so I could see more of it on my first few tries. Overall, it's an impressive and highly polished game that I really enjoyed playing :D
Wow thanks, it's our first game jam, so I'm very glad to hear that! And about the difficulty, yes it can be a little hard, I would like to add a checkpoint and a simpler level design around halfway through the game but it's too late :( So it will be done after the jam :/
So don't hesitate to come back after the jam, the little ending cutscene is nice :D

Creative game! I didn't understand how I was supposed to play the game. I just clicked the green triangle hoping that I didn't hit a saw. Lovely game!
Thank you for your feedback!! Indeed, it may be a problem that it is not necessarily very understandable. The mouse wants to go in a random direction, then we must place a hold in this direction delimited by this green triangle. The only thing we can control is the intensity. If we move the mouse far or near its original position. It is with this mechanism that we progress by avoiding obstacles despite the randomness of the direction.
