I can't imagine the development process you had to do to make this possible, even in its current state!

I think it'll be cool to also show the coordinate system as well "a1, b2, c3, etc". would be hilarious to see a "z26".

Great job on the submission! Congrats!

Developer

Thanks!  If you’d like to see the development, it’s on my YouTube channel!

Would be really fun to play against an Ai (I undesrtand that in 96h it is complicate to code ^^). The concept is great!

Developer

Thanks!  Yeah I spent like 2.5 hours at the very end and couldn't get it to work, but I haven't given up on it yet!

Submitted(+1)

would be cool to have zoom for bigger boards

Developer

Not a bad feature!

Submitted(+1)

well, a nice joke that makes a fun take on chess. It is not intuitive to know if you can make a move because there is no feedback when you click on a piece, but the visuals of the chess pieces are great.

Developer(+1)

May I know what you mean by no feedback when clicking on a piece?  Tiles are hilights Cyan when clicking on them and moves are available.  Though I’m realizing I should test blue-green color blindness with my dad…

Submitted(+1)

i meant by like a highlight on the piece that you selected. Maybe it is me but i didnt notice which piece i clicked on

Developer(+1)

Aaah, I see what you mean.  Yeah highlighting the tile under the piece that's selected does sound like a good feature!

Submitted(+1)

Nice concept! Lacks of some chess feature though, but still a fun concept with a nice graphic!

I actually remember seeing this game on live during development, am i right or am i mistaking you for someone else..? :U

Developer(+1)

You’re right!  I did stream during game development!

And there are some basic chess things missing.  Not planning on dropping this game!

Submitted(+1)

Pawns aren't able to move forward two on their first move, castling? Rest of the movement seems good

Developer

I plan on working on this more, those are good features, just ran out of time :/

Submitted(+1)

Very  creative! This was something I was not expecting to see. The best part- no limits on the board size

Developer

Yup!  Only limit is your PC and monitor!

Submitted(+1)

Unfortunately I could not play 10,000 X 10,000 chess lol. My browser simply wasn't strong enough to contain such power! Fun Idea!

Developer

Maybe one day humanity will reach such power

Submitted(+1)

I went in trying to test the limits of the generation, and I wasn't disappointed! Even boards of size 1 or size 100 work, which made me chuckle. I wish there was a way to zoom in on the larger boards so I can see better.

Developer(+1)

I agree, that could be fun.  I plan on continuing to work on this!

First feature would probably be to make big boards fun; is it just me or do they drag on for too long?

Submitted(+1)

This is a clever idea for creating some chess variants. It's a bit odd how many queens spawn when you lower the board size, but the tiny boards almost feel like a puzzle.

Developer(+1)

At the moment pieces are randomly selected, so you could get all queens or no queens; so each game is new!

Developer(+1)

I just realized your name is close to mine in a way!

Submitted(+1)

I love how you can make a 1x1 board

Developer

If I had time I would have put the “You win!” Sign over that as soon as the game started :P
