Very chill little experience, nicely done. To echo the other commenters: I'd have loved if the position didn't reset each time, and if there were slightly different sfx for when the different animals combined (even just one sound pitched down for bigger animals!)
Very cute visual game, I love your animals. The sounds were nice too, however I was wondering if the animals are like glass marbles because of the drop sound :D I like the help so I knew which animals I need to connect and plan the drop place. Good job :)
Relaxing and polished game, very nice. I like the ambiance, and the trivia is a great touch!
For a suggestion, I won't reset the placement of the drop to the middle each time (just start wherever I previously dropped an animal) - I think it would make the gameplay smoother. Regardless, well done :)
That's...something that didn't cross my mind, and that's some really awesome advice thanks! I'm gonna try it out asap, and maybe add it into my list of post-jam updated :)
Incredibly charming and cozy game you got! Loved the simple and clean aesthetic of the animals and your UI. Everything felt incredibly together. I personally really loved the animal facts, was an incredibly nice touch to this little puzzler. Saw someone else bring up this feedback, but sound effects for each animal would be a nice polish detail. Fun stuff!
The animal sfx is really good feedback! I had managed to get 8/10 sounds I was looking for before the submissions closed, so this is definitely up there in my list of post-jam updates
A very well polished game, it is very relaxing to play with it. A nice touch would be sfx of animal noises maybe? (just a thought, game was fun!) I like the art, and the gameplay, thanks for sharing and goodluck!
Do check out our game while you are at it!
Thanks! Yup, the animal sfx was one of the first things I went looking for- unfortunately couldn't find for all of them before the jam deadline, so had to shelve it. It's now part of my post-jam backlog :)

Good game, well executive, the only problem is the originality (Make me think of another game with fruits...). But the design is beautiful, good job !
Haha yeah. I guess I've been playing Suika so much that the moment I saw the theme, this was what popped into my mind. Tweaks to the core mechanics is something on my post-backlog jam :)
I got to the elephant (:<< Good Animal facts
One step shy of the big one!
Very relaxing puzzle game. Getting combos was so satisfying. I lost before I could make a shark. I'll be back!
They will always be waiting. You can get them! Thanks for playing :)
Well executed concept, fits nicely for the jam :) The animals are cute and the instructions are clear even for somebody who has never played one of these merge type games before. The only problem I have is that it can get very addicting which is definitely suboptimal when there are over 7.7k games to rate and play ;))
Thanks! As my first merge game, it was fun to experiment with a lot of things, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Very relaxing and trivially fun (which is not something easy to achieve these days). Well done! Love the animals :)
Thanks! I had a ton of fun building it, and it warms my heart to see you all enjoy playing it :)
I love Suika! The giraffe is my favorite. He (or she, ehem) told me how penguins warm their feet :3
Me too! The moment I saw the game, Suika is what flashed in my mind. And I'll be sure the relay giraffe's message to the penguins
