Really good implementation of the mechanics with simple puzzles that made me stop and think. I really liked this! Super good block pusher.

I could not finish the whole game as the puzzles got more trickier and harder for me. But the puzzles I could solve gave me so much happiness. And I loved the game. Such a polished and complete game this is! Very well done! A solid entry for this jam and a triple 5* rating without any doubt!
Very cool puzzle game! The puzzle were a bit hard but that make them very cool to solve. Nice job!
The premise was easy to understand, and the puzzles offered surprising depth, especially with the added mechanics every few levels. I found myself going "Oooh" out loud a couple times. I liked the sound design, especially the "walking" sound effect. The only oversight I noticed is that the undo button is set to a physical location on the keyboard, so for me using a Swiss QWERTZ keyboard, undo was actually "Y". Other than that, great game!
Clever puzzle game. I appreciate adding the undo/restart hotkeys. I think level 5 to 6 was a bit of a difficulty spike but like any good puzzle it can be solved with some thought. I think you did a pretty good job teaching the mechanics in the first few levels
This is really creative! But I must admit the puzzle are too hard for me lol
The visuals are pretty good, but the slime sound becomes quite repetitive after a while.
Overall very well done, solid game :)
interesting idea that's applied well in the level design. nice music, sound effects, and a settings menu? all around great game!
I like the main mechanic in concept, but it's extremely hard for me to get a grasp on because of all the intricacies of it. I wonder if you could simplify it a bit more? It would probably make the game a lot easier, but I think it would be for the better. The art is pretty simple but nice though, good job :)
Thanks for your compliments about the art and mechanics! We considered making it so the player would only pull a single slime block in front of them rather then the whole blob, but in the end we decided on the latter since we though it had more depth for puzzle design and was a better fit for the theme (scaling the whole object rather than a section of it). However, you are right in the fact that this unfortunately led to a sharp difficulty curve, where players sometimes get confused after a few levels. If we fleshed this game out with more levels I think that the main mechanic could be slowly introduced in a more intuitive way. Thanks again for your review!
Very creative but I am very lost most of the time. I feel like having better instructions would do wonders with enjoyability.
Teaching the player about mechanics is one of the hardest things to do in puzzle design, and with such a short time to playtest we sometimes have missed the mark with the way we went about that. I hope you still had some fun with the levels you did get to play though!
This is quite an interesting puzzle.
I like the main mechanic conceptually but I don’t like how easy it is to mess up if you want to just move away. Some sort of a conformation mechanic on pull to prevent that would be nice. Also, I spend a lot of time on Level 6 because I didn’t understand what do you mean by “mould”. The fact that you need to pull one slime block against the other, and not push, could be explained better.
Graphics are nice and functional, and sound add a lot of feedback. Overall, it’s a great entry.
Thanks for your review! We considered making the pulling feature something you can toggle on and off, but making it active all the time actually created some interesting puzzle designs because of that restriction, and helps the player to more easily determine moves that they can't do, narrowing the possibilities and reducing choice paralysis.
I agree that there should probably be some better tutorial text in Level 6, we didn't have a lot of time for playtesting unfortunately!
its fun!
Thanks for playing and rating it! Glad you enjoyed it.
very fun game! puzzles were quite hard, but doable
Thanks! Yeah, we knew the difficulty curve was going to be steep and we didn't have enough time to really flesh out the progression with more levels, but I'm glad you enjoyed the game regardless!
