Really fun game , I think points rather than fail for missing would be better, music was excellent

Enjoyed the audiovisual style a lot, but relying solely on colors is a pretty big accessibility issue. Death was sometimes very sudden and having to redo the dialogue upon failure hurt the pacing a little, but nice work regardless!

I was getting in groove ! Wish there was more levels. The flow is pretty cool, the color-coded levels are a neat idea, very espionage-like. I can imagine a longer version where the color changes during the music, and there is an incentive to keep moving.

I wish this game was longer, and I think it’s a good sign!

I have a couple of notes though:

  • I don’t think I need to read the doalogue again after losing. I liked that there was an option to speed it up and skip but I’d prefer if it didn’t appear at all.

  • It wasn’t really conveinent to have to look at the tiles and the timeline. Perhaps the tiles could flash in sync with the beat? Not sure if it would solve the problem completely but probably it would help a bit.

These nitpicks aside, great job!

Great idea, but is there a bug? I could just walk over completely ignoring the beat...

sssshhh don't tell (ye we realised that like 2 days after the end of the jam it's definitely a bug)

Submitted(+1)

Haha damn, did I just beat you in a tactical espionage metagame?

Really cool idea! I was a little confused at first (wasn't sure if I was allowed to stay still on the beats, and also wasn't sure when I made a mistake), but the overall mechanics were really interesting and I'd definitely like to see more. The visual polish was also incredibly well done.

One of the most creative takes on the themes I've seen! I really had fun playing this, and the songs were all bangers. Great job!

Love the take on the theme!

The title really got me ( giving me the patience to read the text lol)

Fun concept and interesting mechanic!

I enjoyed my time as a dancy little dude. 🕺 Had to play it on my drawing tablet though because on my primary monitor the upload was suuuuper cropped. I liked the concept and the music was fun! :D

I love the 4'33" reference, the Bond and MGS influence and the music is super groovy - the beat detection being super accurate makes it really difficult however (or maybe I just suck)

Glad to see a play on the theme based on music :)

Your game was very fun btw, I enjoyed it :)

Also, one note: consider editing the browser's aspect ratio,  in the distributions tab, change the width to like 640 or something wider

The game was a bit cropped for me but enjoyed it nevertheless. Great Work!

i enabled fullscreen, it should "solve" it!

Awesome music and I wanted to keep moving my character to the beat even though I didn't need to! Love seeing other music games

glad you liked it!
