The color palette and minimalist art style work excellently. Puzzles make sense and had a nice difficulty curve. Felt unsatisfying that after a point the game changes and you lose movement. I feel like puzzle game progression should in general add mechanics not take them away. Even with this, my favorite level was the first one without movement lol. Overall, good job and congratulations on the entry!
The level and mechanic progression definitely would have been better if I’d planned it out ahead of time lol, pretty much every time there’s a new mechanic it was me thinking it’d be cool and throwing it in real quick, I pretty much did the bare minimum before starting making the levels and had no idea how it was going to turn out. Thanks for playing!
good realisation of many mechanics!
only the tutorial is a little bit bad, you guess some things by yourself.
Some levels with new mechanics could be easier I think to reduce the entry threshold.
I think there's a bit of a misunderstanding here, plus I was writing a comment in the translator and immediately pasted it without seeing how it specifically translated my thoughts:
I thought so - went into the game and saw that the whole basis is explained in the levels themselves - so did not go into the description.
I was specifically talking about the moment when you have to use ‘space’ to change the selected beam.
I didn't realise that I had to do it in the mode while I was controlling the beam (plus that after the spacebar I had to click the arrows). That's basically what I'm talking about
Love the clever introduction of more and more ways to use the mechanic! Played it all the way through, puzzles got super tough sometimes! Would love to see some indication of which objects were scalable without having to flip through them.
I loved this! I played all the way through and would happily play tons more puzzles like this. Only complaint is that it wasn't immediately obvious to me that you can't move the player in some puzzles, so I thought it was a bug for about a minute the first time I encountered it. Amazing job and really creative take on the theme!
This was both elegant and clever—I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a puzzle quite like this before. The uniqueness really stands out. As mentioned earlier, the controls could use some fine-tuning, but that’s part of the game jam experience, and I completely understand. Overall, fantastic work!
The puzzles were really hard and clever, very fun game. The visuals are simple but effective and the color palate is relaxing. Great job!
Beat the whole thing I can see a lot of people getting stuck on these levels if they don't think outside the box, especially with the mechanic changes.Dope puzzles overall!
How do I complete this one? Also, it would be cool if I could skip a puzzle
You got a lot of interesting puzzles with aha moments from this simple mechanic. Good job.
