:) Woohoo, another shoot-em-up-and-then-stick-their-dead-ship-parts-onto-your-ship game! This was very fun! We did a very similar concept, but in our take, you had to stick parts on mid-battle, without time for too much careful arranging. I really enjoy your version with the separate edit mode. Nice assortment of ship parts too! Your spawning system seems pretty nicely balanced too. My only critique right now is that I think it might be more interesting if there was some sort of budget we couldn’t go over in terms of how many ship parts we’re putting on right now, so you have to do some trade-off consideration of the type of play-style you’re building-out your ship for for the next run. As-is, I pretty much just stick all the parts on and don’t think about much except maybe whether the shape ends-up looking cool (which is a worthwhile endeavor on its own!).

We did consider adding limits and such, but that felt a bit unfun? I enjoy games where you scale like crazy and try to break everything. Ideally we were going to let you combine blocks together to make better ones, but ran out of time.

I'll be sure to check your game out :)

Oh man, Highfleet in space, without tedious resource management! Love this game. As others pointed out the building will be easier with click+drag. But overall looks like really polished and finished game, great job on that!

Woah! I love this game so much! These bad piggies style games are some of my favorites and the ones in space are even better! There is a surprising amount of variety, I'm shocked you managed to make this many tiles. The game reminds me a bit of this mobile game I spent a ton of time playing called Droneboi. Great job!

I love expanding my ship until it becomes a man-made horror beyond human comprehension. But I wish there was a way to move around faster.

THIS GAME IS SO COOL. this is my favorite game from this jam. this is literally my dream game idea.

i made ship so big the game completely freezed.

would be nice to have more parts (like increased range) and an ability to quickly build (by holding shift+LMB and moving mouse for example). also better performance and balance would be good (started out too hard - enemies aimed at my ship too good. then i just destroyed everything in my sight)

spent like an hour playing this game

Much appreciated. The performance should be (somewhat) better if you use the Windows version (assuming you were on web version), although there's a LOT I could do to improve performance. I'm a lil burnt out from the jam but I do want to make some improvements to this, I'll let  you know if/when I do :)

yeah makes sense. my game too had poorer performance on web compared to desktop version. good luck on the game

Cool game, great job!

Neat concept. I didn't like how i was constantly shooting. I was destroying enemies out of view, only seeing their loot being collected..

I like the visuals.

Very enjoyable! I played for way longer than I planned :D

Cool concept. I'm guessing it was inspired by space engineers. It has some really nice ideas with the blocks. The two things I would critique are performance and balancing. It shouldn't be possible that after one huge lag spike a boss ship disappears in an instant. There should be some penalty for building too large ships so that you have to get efficient with your resources.

I haven't played Space Engineers, that looks cool, but I played StarMade in the past which was something I had in the back of my mind while making this :)

Nice game. It was pleasant to build my ship (even if the confirmations was a bit irritating). I did'nt encounter big ship, so it was a bit too easy. Also some camera adjustment for  big ship would be great.

Great job.

played this for like 45 minutes till my ship crashed the game if i accelerated. great work. would love to see this get fleshed out
